  1. Seriously? Do you have ANY idea how many people are accused and arrested daily for child molestation and other charges that you never hear about? PLENTY, I assure you. Did you know about the child molestation case that just ended last week here in Paulding? Most likely not? I never saw any news articles on this case at all. Why? Probably because he is your everyday, ordinary Joe Blow, and NOT a police officer. Double standard? Absolutely! The man accused in this case had to hire a lawyer which cost him thousands of dollars, and has been through hell the past 2 yrs. And in the
  2. Thank you! And we all know that accusations alone, can ruin someone's life, reputation and career. They asked GBI to come in and do the investigation to make sure things were handled correctly. I got NO problems not being given the details on this or any other case, until after the investigation is finished. Just sayin..... PCSO...I think you are awesome!! Also, just sayin...
  3. I have company coming into town tonight that I have not seen in MANY years. We will all be meeting for dinner and maybe an outdoor concert tonight. Tomorrow, those same people plus some additional peeps are coming to my house for swimming for a couple of hours, then we are all headed down to Hiram to have a major cook-out with family and friends. After that, we will head into downtown Powder Springs for the fireworks. This weekend is going to be a BLAST!!! :yahoo: Can I just say, I my life!!
  4. Yep....there is always that too.
  5. And to answer the OP about pulling instead of pushing.....I do a little of each. When I pick something up to go into the cart, it's harder to reach over the handle to place it in the cart, so standing at the other end and pulling it, makes it easier to place the items. When I am grocery shopping, I tend to do a little of each. While I am in the aisle and putting things into the shopping cart, I pull, but when I finish in that aisle and ready to move to the next, I push. Make sense? And I also apologize in advance if you ever run into me at the grocery store. Be forewarned, I usual
  6. My 18 yo sold went to the grocery store with me this past weekend. We walked in, I grabbed a cart, and he stopped me. He took out a clorox wipe and cleaned the bar, then took the cart from me to push it for me. LOL I got quite a kick out of that. He IS his mama's boy! But even I am not THAT bad.
  7. Aaahh! Gotcha! I was trying to figure out what and how I missed something. I thought there was a Florida story being held out.
  8. She must have had a different kind of sighting than the one in THE story, cause that looks nuttin like a big bl.... ummmm, never mind. I won't say it. So WTH did she see this time? Is there going to be a NEW story tomorrow night at dinner?
  9. I just spoke with her, and they did not have one turned in to them. Sorry. I hope you find it.
  10. Lt D. has gone to DARE camp this week. I will find out if one was turned in to her.
  11. I have never received a call before noon when my child was absent from school. I never get them until that evening. It's always an automated call that comes in around 6pm. Just sayin... not sure what the protocol is supposed to be, but if it's supposed to happen before noon, then Paulding schools are way off. Just wanted to add that I know this is not local and all school districts or states have their own policies.
  12. I thought I read somewhere last week, that someone else saw the stepmom say goodbye to him, and saw the little boy head down the hallway. If I remember right, it was the little boys best friend, and he had passed him in the hallway and they said hey to each other as they passed. He was never seen again, as of yet.
  13. Yes. From what they are saying, he and the stepmom went to the science fair. They walked out of there and she hugged him and told him by, and she watched him head down the hallway to go to class. He never made it to the classroom.
  14. I have been following this. It is so strange. He left the science fair at the school, and headed to class but never made it to the classroom. It is very strange, and scary. I was afraid they would find his body somewhere in the school. So far, no trace of anything.
  15. But I am not one of them, and if you knew all of the circumstances, I am sure you would agree with it. The judge certainly had all the information and made his decision based on all of that.
  16. For me, the alimony was awarded because I stayed home for 10 yrs with the kids, and we had a business that I ran out of the home. I worked very hard, and many long hours for the business, and helped it grow into a nice size business. The judge granted him the business, and because of the circumstances of the divorce, I was awarded everything else. I have been working for 4 yrs now, but it took a long time to find a good job because I had been out of the work force for so long. The judge had enough since to know, that even if I went out and found a job immediately, I would not be able to
  17. I was awarded both also, but doesn't do a lot of good when he chooses not to pay any way.
  18. Note my screen name. Let me just say, that I am having the absolute best time of my life. You will be so much happier now. A huge congratulations from me.
  19. I made a comment here, but decided to be good and deleted it.
  20. My house was very quiet this morning as I got ready for work. I loved it. No one to worry about but myself.
  21. I have a friend of mine needing to sell his 1936 3rd Edition copy of Gone With the Wind. It's in good condition. If you are interested, please send me a pm.
