My daughter sometimes talks in text language. Like, if she wants to do something or buy something, and she is told no...her response would be "sad face."

These are some great ideas. I know I can always count on pcom. This is one of those times that FB doesn't work, because she would see it. My biggest challenge is going to be making it through the entire week without giving away that we are coming. I tend to T2DM!

It is awesome for her, but now she is watching her dad go through it. It is very traumatizing to her, to take him to the same chemo room she spent so much time in. This is one tough woman.

I love Anita. Had dinner with her last night actually. Wasn't thinking about this until today though. Still not sure how to go about it. With my family member being there, and having had a mastectomy, I wouldn't know how to go about doing that. We are surprising this family member. She knows about the party, in fact it was her idea, but she has no idea we are coming. I am so excited. I have so much family there, and will get to see them all. YAY

Next weekend we are headed to North Carolina. We have a family member who will be celebrating 5 yrs without breast cancer. We are throwing her a party at HOOTERS!! Seems the perfect place to celebrate boobies!! I would love to come up with a great gift to bring her, that is not expensive but yet very meaningful! Any ideas?

We just moved into our house in February. It's a 2 story home with a fully finished basement that my sister and nephew live in Our electric bill has been $95-$110 each month until last month. It jumped to $361. I know the reason for mine though. We have an East/West facing home. In the mornings, the sun beams straight into the house. I had no blinds or drapes on that side of the house.
