  1. So, is 'satire' a nice word for lying and making up stuff? Or did this really happen and their take on it is different?
  2. What a stupid, drunk cow. I hope she ends up under the jail. It's a miracle that no one was hurt, especially with it being late afternoon in the summertime.
  3. Did the police do it to us again? Say things that weren't true to create public outcry? I'm thinkin' maybe they did. According to this article they sure did. Just the other day Hubby and I were talking about this and I said that I fully believed that he did this terrible thing on purpose and then I added, 'But what if he really didn't'? Well, maybe he didn't and the police just wanted a conclusion to this sad story. HHHHHMMMMMMMMMM............... This was in todays paper, I tried to copy just the link, but it didn't work. TODDLER DEATH CASE Holes in police account on Harris?
  4. OOOOHHH NOOOOOOOO, I'm SOOOOO sad and weepy now, he has always been one of my all time favorites!! RIP Mr. Rockford!! He was in one of the funniest movies ever, My Fellow Americans, with Jack Lemmon.
  5. Try a baking soda solution if the screw seems corroded, then change out the part. I would fix it for sure before I went out of town. But if you have any hesitation at all, take it to your mechanic.
  6. Do these kids not have parenst or guardians? I would not allow my child to take candy from a clan member and if they happened to because the clan didn't idenify themselves, it would go straight into the garbage or back in their bowl.
  7. I read that it was 'missing'. Missing isn't the same thing as being moved by his crazy loon of a wife. Heck, with all of her past antics, she may have him at the house on the sofa. Why on earth if she had rights to the body, would you leave him laying in a funeral home for a month after he died? Can you be more disrespectful than that? She's a whack job for sure.
  8. After my daughters interview, I'm hard pressed to believe that they are going to find 40 people with 3 years experience. Maybe I'm wrong.
  9. Thanks for the info, I hope it doesn't last all day. I'm glad I have 2 gallons of water left over that I brought home from Florida and 2 cold bottles in the fridge.
  10. I used to love Dr. Phil, but he seems to run along the same lines as Maury Povich and Jerry Springer these days. No thanks.
  11. The fire dept flushed out the hydrant in front of my house this morning and now my tap water is B-R-O-W-N. Does one have anything to do with the other?
  12. When my daughter set up the interview, she told the person that she spoke with that she had no assembly line experience, 'No problem apply anyway'. She went to the interview and after filling out papers, taking a drug test, she was told that 3 years minimum exp was required and thats's fine, but it seems to me that when you tell someone point blank that you have no experience, they should say thanks, but no thanks and not waste anyones time, My daughters or theirs.
  13. My daughter has an interview at 1:30 tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
  14. Oh maan, that's bad. I hope all turns out well.
  15. Is this a domestic issue or do they think a third party is involved and that there's foul play?
  16. This story is so sweet. A baby died girl at 6 weeks old because of a tumor on her liver and her parents wanted a picture of her without all of the tubes that she required, they put the request on Reddit, whatever that is, to see if anyone could 'photoshop' the only picture they had of her. Wow!! This made me weepy and even middleschooler got a little choked up. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/dads-heartbreaking-internet-plea-spurs-strangers-n157856
  17. I'm all for saving money, but the thought of so much tax money not going into the coffers that so desperately need it, is absurd to me. Is all the money spent only being spent because there's no tax on it? I don't think so. Most people are going to buy this stuff anyway and the state needs the tax dollars. I don't get it. And like others have said, unless I'm looking to buy a big ticket item, the crowds aren't worth saving a few dollars here and there. At least not to me.
  18. I do believe that things can be a tragic and horrific accident, such as in a daycare situation. However, when you have a stupid irresponsible excuse for a parent and they leave the kids in the car while they go shopping or to get a haircut and they are too sorry to get a babysitter or to take them inside with them, that's NOT an accident of any kind and they need the book thrown at them. They need to lose their kids and go to jail. It's a self serving act because you don't want to be bothered with your own kid. I don't know why the self centeredness of stupid people still surprises me.
  19. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
  20. OMG!!!! This student would have gotten 100% and a stern note sent home to his/her parents!!!
  21. That could be me too. Luckily, my family know me well enough to interpret what I'm saying. 'Ya' know that movie we saw that time with that guy in it and they went to that place and did that thing'.............and strangely, they usually know what I'm talking about.
