  1. I agree, the lapse in judgment came when drove recklessly and caused the accident.
  2. Have I lost my mind or do I really keep seeing on TV that Gwyneth Paltro is gong to be singing on the show?
  3. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: This reminds me of the accident a couple of years ago caused by the drunk driver involving a limo that killed several family members. The drunk drivers family was on the news and were trying to defend his actions and one of the stupidest, most ignorant comments I have ever heard was, 'But, he was always so good at sports'. WTH?!?!? Well, that certainly makes a difference doesn't it, so what if 5 people were killed, he sure could kick a football. REALLY?!?!?!??!??!?! OMG!
  4. YEP!!! :clapping: Also, would I want anyone with this kind of poor judgment and total and complete self serving ideas trying to guide me or mine? Any good that she may have ever done has been negated by what she DID.
  5. With so many saying that it was an accident and she was young and panicked, etc., if they would feel the same way if the ones that were killed had been their own family. I can live with the fact that she caused the accident by driving recklessly, fine. She should have stopped. Bottom line. Period. End of sentence. But the only person she thought about was herself. Even if she had left the scene, gone home, told her parents and then called the police, I can deal with that. But having the car fixed, lying, her mother helping her, those things are unforgivable. An entire family was wip
  6. Thank you!!!! If I want to get my kids or grandkids a Happy Meal, with a toy, then thats my right as a customer at McDonalds. Can a local government forbid an establishment from selling a product they have sold for years and years? This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I was hoping that was what you would choose. I like keeping my window cracked no matter how cold it is, Hubby hates it, and I snuggle in the bed with the warmer and the heavy down comforter.............MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM............ there's nothing like it!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!
  8. Great post and I agree! There is LOTS of drama at times, but if there is any kind of issue in Paulding county, this is the first place I come for info. People can say what they want, but more often than not, you can find out what is going on. Also, if you need help or support or are offering help, where do you go? Yep, Pcom. This site saved me when my sister died and I realize that there are those who will never get that, but it's true. The HUGE amount of time that I spent with her had to be channeled somewhere. I went to the famous Pcom lunches, met people I didn't know I needed to
  9. He let's you stay, if it were my site, you wouldn't be on it anymore with assinine comments like this one.
  10. Honestly, I'm a weird eater. If anything has more than 4 or 5 ingredients in it, including salt and pepper, I won't eat it.
  11. I found this one online, but I don't like brunswick stew so I don't know if it's right. If you Google 'crock pot brunswick stew' several recipes come up. http://southernfood.about.com/od/brunswickstew/r/bl80111f.htm
  12. Are you kidding, since when does cash not post immediately? WOW!!!!
  13. The Senior Citizens Center has a pretty big parking lot as well as indoor space.
  14. We've had it both ways. My Mom was sick with cancer and just about every other ailment for 5 years before she passed. She was almost dead for 2 of those years, practically dead for the next two and barely breathing for the last one. It was more awful than I can say because as you know, every time the phone would ring, we'd panic just wondering if this was 'the call'. She was only 50 when she passed and then my sister went BOOM and was gone. I think when my Mom died, we were prepared and as awful as it sounds, relieved when she was finally gone. She was no longer suffering and sick and th
  15. I'm surprised by all these long wait times, we waited maybe 20 minutes and there were only 7 machines at Moses. I wonder how the districts are divided up?
  16. An unexpected death like this is so difficult to deal with, been there, done that. Lots of prayers and good wishes sent!!!!
  17. This just made my day!!!! There are lots of good people out there!
  18. It's because you know me way too well!!!!!!
  19. As usual, Miss Sally Cynical (me), believes that they do this ON PURPOSE to try and overdraw your account so they can jam with charges. We live pretty close to the belt at times and when I make a purchase and it's approved, they better get their money while the getting is good. I think it's crap to wait for a week, sometimes next week the money isn't there anymore, especially when you think it's already been deducted.
