I like that name, but the problem often comes in when the Moms insist on a goofy spelling, like Maaccee and you know somebody, somewhere has done it.

I went to school with a sister and brother, Rocky and Pebbles Stone.

I'm not sure who told you it 'wasn't all that', but it is exactly 'all that'. It's completely breathtaking on a HUGE scale, because everything there is huge, there are fireplaces that are bigger than my extra bedrooms. I mean, you have to like that kind of thing.....me, loved it......Hubby, not so much. You need to make reservations to the candlelight tours at Christmas, hopefully if you decide to go, they are still available.

Yep. I almost had a cow when my daughter wanted to spell my granddaughters name, Mollie, instead of Molly. She also has some whack-a-do idea to name a baby Dallas........no I don't think so. I like plain old names like Sara, Elizabeth and Sam......HHHHMMMMMMMM......wonder why!!

Q-100, the Bert Show, does something every year called Berts Big Adventure, where they take children who are severely chronically ill or terminally ill and their entire families, to Disney World. All expenses are paid, they get spending money and gift bags with cameras, sunscreen, etc. They are are looking for donations and until the end of the week they are in a contest with a couple of other charities for $8,000.00 from 11 ALIVE. So, according to Bert, if you go to FaceBook, go the the 11 ALIVE page and click that you 'like' 11 ALIVE, they are that much closer to winning the $8,00

I have never liked the search topics button because you can't put in a word less than 4 letters or it says something like, 'if you don't know how to use this feature........'. Sometimes I want to look up things with 3 letter words and you can't do it.

You're right, money is no object where your Hubby works. Mine works in the same area and often gets tipped just for doing his job. He got a $44.00 tip the other day, which we thought was a funny amount, but he saved the home owner about $500.00 because he didn't have to call an electrician to do what Hubby could do for free. I do love the convenience of Ace, but as I said, $20.00 more for the exact same thing from HD, is not doable for me. We spent less on the whole project than the wire cost at Ace. Up to $5.00 more, sure, I would have paid it, but $20.00, no way.

I tried hard to keep the windows and doors open, being that it is almost November, but it got too hot and humid INSIDE the house. Should you really have to run the AC this late in the year? I think not. Supposedly, there is a strong cold front coming tonite and when it hits this warm air, it could get exciting. Hubby said he is glad not to be working this evening, but at 7:00 in the morning, there could still be lots of people without power.

YAY!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine goes down when the engine turns off. That seems like an odd thing to steal.

Like what?

Agreed! If it's on Tuesday, they have to go to school on Wednesday, so where's the mystery? I think it's because it's SUNDAY specifically and people are concerned with the church aspect. It's Halloween, a time for kids to dress up and get free candy, nothing more, nothing less and it's on October 31st, not the 30th or the 29th. You can trick or treat on Sunday and still be a good God fearing Christian.

Thank you mam!

Yep, he came by my house too. Hubby was in the shower, I was gone and 3rd grader had been forbidden to go to the door, so he sat in our bedroom until the guy had gone. When Hubby got of the shower, he looked out and the kid was going door to door with a spray cleaner. -
Thats where my SIL told me to take it, thank you!

There was a dollar store, not a Dollar Tree, I think an actual Dollar Tree would make it without question.
