  1. Can I ride along? I'll help you shove them off the bus!!!
  2. We went to Moses right at 4:00pm and there was no line. However, in less than 10 minutes there was a line out the door onto the sidewalk. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. WOOHOO!!!!
  3. That's how Hubby is and he swears that I will come to that point too. I'm not convinced yet, but I hope to be soon because I know it is good for me. I've been gradually doing a little more every other time or so and it is getting easier, not more fun, but easier.
  4. I didn't see it on the web site. http://www.seethemovies.com/now_showing.php
  5. If you are facing the court house, it is the building on the right. Go straight back to the elevator and I think the tag office is the third floor, get off the elevator and it's on the left. I think they close at 5.
  6. Yep and these things don't have to include mug shots. I still say that the only reason that these silly pics were used is because they could find no dirt to dig up and they had nothing else. I totally understand the OP's mindset, someone goes after something as innocent as a pic in the delivery room and it hits a nerve. But, at least there were no pics with a number under it while he is turning right and left. I'd much rather have a candid pic of a real person than a staged one of a guy whose hair could deflect a tennis ball.
  7. We used to take 3rd grader to Boots Ward to play several times a week and I can remember twice where kids acted like that. He was about 6 and one kid actually walked up to him and snatched a football right out of 3rd graders hands and said, 'Me and my friends want to play with this'. I was stunned speechless, but luckily Hubby wasn't and took care of it right quick. This kids Mom saw the entire thing and laughed and told us that 'boys would be boys'. I had recovered by then and told her that no boy of mine would EVER act that way. I was sitting on a bench once and a kid walked up to me
  8. I'm a little confused as to where they are. Ross Cavitt said last night and this morning that while it had been reported that they had been released to a family member, they had not been and were in state custody. But does it really matter at this point as long as they aren't in that Hell hole anymore? Hopefully they are little enough to have no long term effects from this neglect and abuse. As my Mom used to say, 'God love their little hearts'.
  9. YEA we are!!!!!!!! :D And you still love me, either I'm REALLY cool or Hanson isn't that uncool!!!!! Can't wait to see you!!!!
  10. YEP!!!!! I have NO compassion for this girl and her mother at all. Or anyone else in her family who knew about this and did nothing. What else has her sorry mother covered up for her reckless and irresponsible daughter?
  11. We have always used a heated mattress pad, for whatever reason we prefer them to an electric blanket. They seem to warm you through and through, they don't get pulled off you like blankets sometimes do either. I just had to get a new one and ordered it from Overstock.com. A dual control queen size was $73.99 plus $1.00 shipping. I think it was a Sunbeam and that is the best price I've seen in a while. Also, it turns off automatically and I like that feature.
  12. Thank you!!!! Hubby feels the same way, he has always worked out and at 48 years old, he's in great shape. I'm not there yet though, but I know the only way to get there is to keep it up and do just a little more each time. The thing is, that now if I don't exercise, I feel guilty. Hopefully, I can keep it up and it will become second nature to me like it to him.
  13. Is there some link missing in a mother that would run off and leave her kids? My two oldest are 25 and 23 and I'd still kill anybody who hurt them. It's that crazy mother instinct, why do some mothers just not have it? Those poor babies!
  14. My problem isn't the fact that there was an accident, which I believe that is what it was. My problem is with the fact that she fled, lied, had her car fixed, her mother helped her and the only person she had absolutely any regard for, was herself. If the police hadn't have been tipped off by her neighbors, she may have been still living her life as normal. That is the unacceptable part to me. ME, ME, ME, ME, ME is all that ran and continued to run through her mind. As I said earlier, if she had stopped, the amount of trouble she would have been in would probably be slim to none. I
  15. It makes me wonder how bad she must be if the kids were with the drunk dad.
  16. I believe that people do KNOW when kids are in that situation. I think that their loyalty is skewed in the wrong direction, like towards their brother or sister and not the kids. I wonder where their mother is?
  17. WTH are people thinking? How could a sane person do a little kid like that? 10 minutes....just give me 10 minutes with these 'parents'.
  18. Here's the single they released in May. It's a tribute to the Blues Brothers because they love that movie!! Hubby even sings along to this one, he says it's a 'toe tapper'.
  19. Oh no, no exercise to that one, but they've had 5 albums since the MMMMBopp years, with lots of great songs and their new album rocks!! I'll see if I can find one of those.
  20. This is the Hanson that I love and many people don't know exists.
  21. O-M-G!!!! I will never hear that song the same again!!! They are older now and don't sound like girls anymore. That is TOO funny!!!!!!! My daughter and I have been laughing so hard we can barely speak!! I don't even know what to say to that!!!!!!
