I don't remember the cruise line, but my daughter has been on an Alaska cruise. She had an interior room that was teenie, tiny. But it had a bathroom and the only time she was in it was to sleep so she was OK with it. There were so many activities and so much to see, they were busy all the time. They flew to Alaska, did the cruise, flew to Seattle, bought a Chevy Suburban and drove back across the country for 2 weeks and saw just about everything in between. I don't think it was cheap, but she said the cruise was worth every single penny because they got to see in person what so many will only

I guess they really don't ever leave us. My uncle was an alcoholic, whiskey being his drink of choice. The night he died, Hubby and I were sitting in the livingroom and the smell of whiskey became overwhelming. I didn't say anything because I thought, 'Naw'. Then Hubby looked up at me and said, 'Do you smell that'? And for about 10 minutes it got stronger and stronger and finally just went away. To my knowledge, there hasn't ever been a bottle of whiskey on my house. Weird!! Your father left the sweet smell of Old Spice, my family left whiskey.............sounds about right!!

That's so cool. We've been having some difficult issues in our family for the past 6 months or so involving my youngest daughter, 27, and her husband. I've heard many people talk about finding pennies or other change and believe that it their loved one telling them 'hi'. During these 6 months I have found dozens and dozens of dimes. I'll mop the kitchen floor, go back to put the mop up and one will be laying in the middle of the floor. I find them in the bathtub, in my shoe, crazy places. I found 7 in one day all over the place. Exactly. We went at Christmas too and like you, we were looking for things that you could always find at JCP, except that we didn't find them. A large percentage of their market is and has always been, moms and grandmas shopping for their families. It seems to me that they attempted to market to a different, younger crowd and that different and younger crowd doesn't shop at JCP. So, those gramdmas and moms went elsewhere to find what they were looking for at Pennys. I hope they can come back, but all these bad decisions may be the last nail in the coffin.
