I sleep with the window open in the winter regardless of the temp outside. There can be snow on the ground and the window is open.

This is us too. Some people make the mistake of setting the thermostat above 80 when they aren't home and then turning it down when they get home, they think they are saving energy. But what really happens is that it takes more energy to get the temp back down to a comfortable level than leaving it at 76 or 78 while they're away.

I pull over, I taught my children to pull over. Your turn down the radio and don't talk. I couldn't care less if some think it's outdated or dangerous, I don't think it's either. If you don't want to stop, fine, just don't be surprised if you're labeled a giant a$$hat by all the people you're blowing past who HAVE pulled over out of respect.
