scoobydoo001
Here are a few ideas - A yellow cake cupcake w/ a green shamrock (ie yellow cake batter w/ green food coloring) design inside, topped w/ irish cream frosting. An green irish cream flavored cupcake w/ coffee or cappucinno flavored frosting. A green velvet cupcake w/ a cream cheese frosting and green shamrock sprinkles. A green (maybe mint) chocolate chip cupcake w/ a mint frosting.

gaheart
How about Pistachio? I have had some wonderful pistachio cakes before and I am sure it would make a good cupcake too. The icing is a wonderful minty green color.
goldenbriar63
Bailey's sounds good, but might be limiting b/c of liquor. Key lime sounds fabulous. Use some lime curd as a filling. Either cookies and cream or just mint chocolate, but make either one green.

bumblebee
Wow! Thanks for all the awesome suggestions. I am going to take them to the bakery and talk to everyone and see which one they like. We have a key lime cake on our menu, and I thought of that, but it seems like more of a spring/summer flavor. We cut a key lime cake Friday and sold it by the slice and today I had a few people come in wanting more. So, it will stay in the mix of ideas for now. lol. I LOVE the idea of Irish Cream cupcakes. We can cook out most of the alcohol so that would not be a problem. I also like the idea of the shamrock on top, the rainbow, and the golden cupcake. And the creme de menthe type. Shoot, I like them all. hahaha. So, I am going to take a vote at the bakery and see what all the other worker bees think. THANKS SO MUCH! I have an idea! Try a few of these ideas, donate some samples to our Meth Alliance dinner/dance Saturday, and we will taste them and let you know which ones we like the most!!! lol Hey! I will mention that idea to the "powers that be." Call me at the bakery tomorrow/today and I will let you know if I can. Just wanted to let you know that you did an awesome job on my son's bewbie cake Saturday.....It was delicious as well.....Thank you very much... Yay! thanks for letting me know. It was a very fun cake to do. We have another order for a "bewbie" cake this week, but this one is wearing a bikini top. So glad ya'll liked the cake.

PauldingMom
Hey what the heck was going on at your place on Sunday? We drove past in hurry and couldn't stop but I noticed you had a table set outside with goodies on it. Are you now open on Sunday?
bumblebee
I hope the "powers that be" will think this is a good idea. I will give you a call this afternoon. It isn't that they will not think it is a good idea. We just get SO many requests from equally worthy causes. Being a small, new business we can't donate to all. I wish we could, but, it just isn't possible. I will ask, though. And look forward to hearing from you later today. Hey what the heck was going on at your place on Sunday? We drove past in hurry and couldn't stop but I noticed you had a table set outside with goodies on it. Are you now open on Sunday? We had several people ask if we would open on Sundays, so we tried it last Sunday. But, it just isn't worth it. We really need a day off. lol. And Sunday is the only full day off we have where no one is in the kitchen.
S.T.A.M.P.
We understand completely. You can also mention to them, that if they do not want to donate an actual dessert item, they could do something like a gift certificate for 10% off of a cake or something. That will bring you in some business and you aren't actually giving any thing away. They can be creative and do absolutely anything that will bring some business to you. That is what we want. To help each other out.
