From: Michael R. James: District 19 Republican House Seat Candidate
I have been referred to as the "Mystery Man" candidate for the House Seat in District 19, Paulding County. With that being said, I would like to pose a hypothetical question, to both of you. If it were revealed, that I had been arrested for Insurance Fraud, Simple Battery and had a Federal Tax
Please participate in S.O.D. or (Stamp Out Drugs) for Paulding County. Everyone, including myself, knows someone personally or has a family member that has been destroyed by Drugs. Whether it is illegal prescription drugs, illegal K2 or Spice, Meth, Heroin, Marijuana, etc., we have all been directly or indirectly affected by this family and life destroyer. Why does it continue to persist? Is this not one of Paulding Counties most urgent problems? I need your help, and it will only cost you the p
Tuesday night, after two weeks off, I happened to Catch Jon Stewart's return to the Daily Show comedy news.
He opened with the funniest, hardest hitting, self-deprecating video editorial in my memory. My jaw was agape.
Here it is in three installments. Watch one, watch the second and watch the third and you'll know how silly the polarizing language used by today's 'dividers' is ...

I'm listening to a podcast involving some of the judges for the 48 hour guerrilla film contest ...
Here are some pearls:
Everybody has a weekend, you may as well be making a movie.
99 percent of the people just talk about it, just get it done is a huge accomplishment
we shouldn't make a movie about a movie. make a movie about a character.
Not action for the sake of action . no drug deal gone bad movies.
do something we can do well.
Sound is important. do some f
Ive been following this case closely for the last couple of weeks. As some of you may know Nicolas Cody Tate is scheduled to be executed tonight at 7 pm. This case bothers me for a couple of different reasons. Although, not closely associated, but somewhat, I am friends with the husband of the murdered woman and her child that were killed by Mr. Tate. I watched this family suffer for years, and to some degree they still suffer. Though trying desperately for the last 10 years or so he had been tr
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.
My mother passed last night around 7:40P, very peacefully.
We talked yesterday morning, she opened her eyes and I could understand her.
She even smiled.
I shake my head and say it was so quick, but I (we) wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
My mother was my everything, every day.
I always talked to her when I got off of work on my way home. I would go by her house in the morning before work or in the evening after work.
I'm not one to get on here and ask for much of anything..........
Y'all are my cyber pals and I just get on here to express myself.
My mother will be 80 this year and she is on the last of her journey on this earth.
She's been sick since Christmas. She just hasn't felt well and has had trouble breathing but she wouldn't go to the doctor.
Last week I was at her house every morning because she couldn't breathe. Finally I convinced her to go to the doctor, so Wednesday we go see t

Have you noticed dark areas along your baseboards or under closet doors???
Be sure to use your vacuums's edge tool around your baseboards once a month to help prevent this condition, called "air infiltration".
Air infiltration is cased by air moving from place to place in your house while the heater or air conditioner is running. Your carpet is actually filtering the dirt out of the air.
So be sure to vacuum regularly and use that edge tool often. Not to mention having your carpet
Allergies & Asthma

There are three things you can do to extend the life of your carpet:
1) VACUUM, VACUUM, VACUUM. Like any other fiber, carpet will last longer with the proper maintenance. Frequent vacuuming will keep abrasive soils from cutting and prematurely wearing the carpet fibers.
2) Avoid using carpet cleaning processes and spot cleaners with a soapy, powdery, or foamy base. They leave a residue in the carpet fibers. Soapy spots have a tendency to yellow and leave sticky residue that resoils
Recently, I had someone ask me what to look for when hiring a concrete contractor when I was giving her a bid on a concrete patio she is interested in having installed. So I gave her some helpful advice I'd like to share with others too.
When you're in need of any type of concrete services, there are several things you should consider when choosing a concrete contractor.
General Guidelines for Choosing a Concrete Professional:
* Are they insured?
* Are they licensed?
*
If you know that your home's curb appeal makes a great first impression to potential homebuyers, why not do all you can to give them the best first impression ever with low-cost improvements by adding decorative concrete curb appeal? Graceful and appealing front entrances are a huge eye catcher. And, now homeowners can easily have the most beautiful driveways and walkways in the neighborhood.
Transform your walkway with stain and patterns. You already have an existing walkway right? Why not
Concrete is surely becoming the new material of choice for many homeowners and designers across the US. You can now find concrete floors that have been stained, colored, engraved and personalized in homes, restaurants, offices and retail stores everywhere. They’re eye-catching and sure to make an impression on everyone who sees them.

No matter what type of decorative concrete
Life is all about changes. You know the routine. Just as you become comfortable with some part of your life, it changes.
Just as you finish your education, life is waiting with a new set of changes. Suddenly you are a young man or woman that must pursue gainful employment to take care of yourself.
And let's not forget the attraction of a mate that ultimately leads to a relationship and children. Talk about changes and responsibilities!
Just as your children start their grownup lives
