I have about 6-8 of them driving around my neighborhood.
They go flying down the road at what has to be 30-40mph.
What are the rules for this?
Just curious since I have a Cobb County cop on the road that has three of them...
Do I report it or is this legal...
I am waiting on one of them to smack a car or tree or Flip it the way they go flying down the road.
I thought one of them got hit on Old Cartersville two weeks ago.
I just don't want someone to get killed.
Slow riding is fine with me...
It is the ones that fly down the road that scare me.
Hmmm, you must live somewhere near me. About 2 weeks ago (on a Saturday evening), I was coming up Old Cartersville Road with 2 cars in front of me. Just as the first car got near Bone Circle, 3 boys on 4 wheelers came flying off of Bone Circle and drove over to Johnstons Ridge without any regards to the cars coming towards them. The car had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting them. One of the boys didn't have lights on his 4 wheeler, plus it was dark and he was wearing dark clothes and no helmets. I don't know who these boys were, but if they are the children of anyone on this board, you may want to caution them to be more careful.

I too have been suprised lately by reading of people who I went to high school with that have passed away. There have been a couple of classmates out of my graduating class that have passed. One girl in particular died from a drug overdose of meth. It really took me by suprise since I would have never guessed that she would have OD.

Did he work at the old location, the one that used to be across from where Hilltop cinema's used to be? I think its a furniture store or something now..haven't been to Mableton in forever but his name does sound familiar. I used to work service desk, frontline supervisor and layaway. My hubby worked there also, thats where we met....My daughter loves to tell that story that we found love at the Kmart store lol lol
That's funny, Hubby said he started working at that old Kmart back in '88 when he was in High school.

I was thinking that myself. It is hard to see when trying to turn left off of Legion Rd. onto Merchants Dr. One thing I have noticed is people flying down Merchants Dr. It is kind of hard to see since there is a little hill right there. One day not too long ago, there was a car (I guess that thought the car in front wasn't going fast enough) decided to pass another car in the TURN LANE right there in front of the gas station.
Yes, I agree, there needs to be a light. I guess not enough people have been killed yet for it to be considered.
