That's what I thought it meant too, and I was a bit appalled. Perhaps it will be corrected soon, because it looks just terrible as written. I hope your drive goes well. People give for all kinds of reasons. Some for flat screen TVs.

So very sorry to hear this news, LL.

Silly ole me! >>chuckle<< I was trying to reason.

I'm with you. Nancy Grace is the worst of the worst in "sensationalist" journalism. She's perfect for a SNL impersonation skit. And that's about it. Still, it would be so good for NH's family if there was some proof of her death on that island.

Good point. Smoking is banned in public buildings. But tobacco isn't. It's also illegal for minors to buy it, AND by inference, to smoke it in public buildings. Alcohol is illegal for minors to drink. ANYWHERE. ANY alcohol. Illegal. But for folks over the age of 21--LEGAL. Are we good with that? Yeah? You really do guard your bone, don't you? Even if the meat is all gone and the marrow is sucked out, you still snarl if anyone approaches. Down girl.

And PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY means that people should have enough sense and self-control to not abuse tobacco, tequila, vodka, Red Bull, meth, OR Four Loko. People who speed on I-20 every day when I drive to and from work are an extreme danger to public safety, but if they get caught speeding, they get a ticket. They don't get their driving privileges taken away from them (unless they do it habitually). Even then, it's only THEIR licenses that get taken away, and not the licenses of all of those who DON'T haul ass and endanger other folks with their poor choices and bad behavior. Peopl

No kidding. Tequila makes one's clothes fall off. And regardless of who's drinking it, in any case this is a hazard. Perhaps there should be a warning label? You know, warning those whose clothes may fall off, and alerting those who may be with them when this side-effect occurs. Smoking kills, and though they come with warning labels, cigarettes aren't banned, nor are chewing tobacco, "snuff," or cigars. If someone is stupid enough to drink a whole pint of vodka or heaven forbid even MORE, all kinds of bad things might happen in their brains and in their bodies and their gener

Nom nom nom. I just ate a bunch of pistachios. That's healthy, right? Right?

A-freaking-men. He made a commitment. He signed the contract. And now that he's collected on his side, he wants to renig on what he promised in exchange for what he received in that contract? He can take a different job and give the time he owes. Not every position in the military requires one to kill. Why is that not a viable option to his "predicament" in your mind, zc? Sure, people can change and sure, perhaps he has had some sort of life-changing experience that makes him firmly believe that he can't engage in activities directly that would end the life of another. I get that. -

We had tacos for dinner. Maybe I should offer one to my chihuahua. You know, just to see if she likes them. She does look just like the Taco Bell dog. Seriously. But she steals your food--or just about anything--if you turn your back on her. Which is why we call her our little Mejican thief. Which would probably offend someone somewhere, even though it's completely true. Go figure. -

Yo gusto Taco Bell. And I have a chihuahua. Which is nothing like a chinchilla, BTW. Well, except they are both small and furry. And generally not good on tacos. Not that I would personally know. -

And we agree. As usual, the OP is trying to get a rise out of folks. It would be best ignored, but that's not up to me. Thanks, RR.
