  1. Years and years ago, RS used to be a great source for electronic parts for machine controllers, like relays, switches, and even vacuum tubes. When I first moved to Paulding 20+ years ago, I went into the then Hiram RS store that was in the strip mall on 120 between what was then Kroger and K-Mart. Those people were just plain RUDE, I never went back.
  2. Golden rule applies. He that makes the gold makes the rules.
  3. Typical liberal. She doesn't know left from right or up from down.
  4. I am truly astounded that anyone gives a red rat's rectum about this whole situation. What, exactly, has this person contributed to society?
  5. Not to Falcons' fans: The Seahawk's offensive coordinator is supposed to become the Falcons' new head coach. Let's see, now. Your team has the ball on the 1/2 yard line with 20 seconds and 2 time outs left in the game. You have the best running back in the league. So, what do you do? Call a pass over the middle into tight coverage. Right. Interception. Game over. Here comes another 10 years of stupid calls and bad coaching in Atlanta.
  6. Not gonna watch, don't care. That game would be like watching the Vols play SC. Who cares? The only thing newsworthy about the game would be if the stadium imploded and swallowed both of em.
  7. Could you please post the location and time of meetings of Sexaholics Anonymous? I want to go sit in the parking lot and see if any hot babes want to have a relapse.
  8. I don't know whose voice annoys me more. Darrell Waltrip or Little Jeffie Cupcake. Yeah, he's a great driver. I just wanna puke when I hear him. I really, really, really hope no network picks him up as an anal-ist.
  9. I won't miss the whiny little cupcake.
  10. I have, and will continue to, refuse to provide business services to anyone who is of a middle-eastern persuasion. Religious, political, whatever reason....I'm not that desperate for a sale that I have to compromise my beliefs and principles to accommodate an ethnicity that hates my God and my country.
  11. Unfortunately, that is a one-way street. There don't seem to be many restrictions on what the gooberment can do to organized religion.
  12. Wasn't it the City of Houston, TX that passed an ordinance recently that required the pastors of all the churches in the city to submit the drafts of their upcoming sermons to the city for approval? Seems to me that I read the Mayor is a lesbian? And she was all pissed because the pastors weren't marching in lockstep with the gay rights folks.
  13. I agree about Carson. I didn't mind Leno. I think Letterman is the biggest waste of air time the TV industry has had, up until Jimmy Kimmel.
  14. Please let us all know the next time the government (any government) does something FOR the citizenry instead of TO them.
  15. If there is any good news out of OSU's win, it is that we won't have to listen to "Roll Tide" on every corner for the next year.
  16. Thanks. I'd like his info. I have a friend who buys and sells kilns.
  17. I have an upcoming project for my glass business where I need someone to make for me (or teach me how) some custom ceramic molds into which I can cast glass.
  18. Statements are made about what people WRITE, not what they "think".
  19. Yep. The "Birmingham Bowl"? Really? Or the "Pinstripe Bowl"...that's a real winner.
  20. A bit of disagreement from a Mizzou alum and life-long fan. First, Missouri isn't on an island, geographically speaking. Three other SEC states border on Missouri, more states than, for example FL or SC or KY or LA (pre-aTm). The StLouis and KC TV markets are, strangely enough relatively unconcerned with Mizzou's sports programs vs what happens in Champaign or Lawrence, Kansas City is infested with Jayhawks. I have lived in both KCMO and STL and have watched the Tigers struggle with getting news coverage, having to compete with 2 other football programs and 3 other basketball progr
  21. I don't suppose it ever occurred to you that proper supervision and training in all areas of these kids lives from, say, birth, might have prevented said crime?
  22. All that Dr. Seuss parenting stuff worked out really great, didn't it?
