I have been trying to win those meet and greet tickets and then private concert with Rob Thomas on Q100. I never win anything so I told my sister about it and she had been trying (she wins EVERYTHING). Well this morning she called the radio station to ask what time they were going to do it. She actually got on the air with the Bert Show and they were talking to her about it. She is in Ft. Lauderdale right now on vacation but she knew how bad I wanted the tickets. Bert told her she was caller #1 and to start calling. 5 minutes later, the Bert Show comes back on and Bert said "You all won'

All I did was enable the UPnP and it worked. Someone told me to forward some ports but I didn't do any of that (atleast I don't think I did!!). I have been pulling my hair for 2 days now trying to get them to work. It was been quiet in my house now for the last hour!!

OMG- it worked!! Both boys are now HAPPY- which makes mom VERY happy!! Thanks everyone!!

OK- I think I found the UPnP and enabled it. Going to check if they can both connect.

Thanks guys. I am in it now but am lost again. I see a tab that says UPnP forwarding- is that what I want? It has a bunch of stuff that I don't understand! ETA- When I click on UPnP forwarding under the applications and games tab- do I just click on all the enable boxes?

I tried rebooting the router and still doesn't work right. I will try the UPnP (have to figure out how to access my router again). Cross your fingers!!

They are both wired. The router is maybe 6 months old. I just googled it and someone says to enable the UPnP settings on the router and open ports??? Then enable the DMZ feature on the router??? Does this sound right?? This is way over my head!

We just checked the MAC address for each XBox and they are different.

I have a three computers and 2 Xbox's hooked up to a router and a switch. Everything worked great until we hooked up the second Xbox to it. If one Xbox is connected the other one has a hard time connecting and if they do connect they don't stay connected very long. Does this mean that I just need a better router? I currently have a Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL Router. If so, does anyone have one they can recommend?

My friend has tickets to the one in Florida and she just said that theirs was postponed. She is SOOO upset! So not sure if they postponed the one here or not and not sure why they postponed the one in FL. ETA- Sorry didn't read through your whole post! Didn't see where you knew about the FL ones.

I highly recommend Dr. Chitale. He did the surgery on my husband's neck a few years back and was awesome!!!

I will have to check into it again. I thought Verizon said a trace could be done but would cost me a fortune. I just got a voice recorder today to plug in when they call. Maybe I can get it on tape and go from there. I can't change my number- that would be a HUGE hassle!!

No way to block on a cell phone. Wish there was- I have the same person calling over and over (harrassing calls) and was told (from Verizon) the only way to stop it was to change my number. Never thought of it but maybe set the ringtone to silent for that number (I can't because the people calling me comes from an unavailable number.

Oh man- I missed it because I had to work. I LOVE Rob Thomas. His new CD Cradlesong is, in my opinion, the best album yet from him.

OMG- now he comes inside and tells me he just burnt the top of his finger. Apparently he and a few friends were lighting those smoke bomb things and it got him on the finger. Pretty bad too. Can my boys not give me one day of dealing with either a sickness or injury??? Maybe I should just lock them in their rooms for the rest of the summer.

No the doctor said he will be fine in the sun- just to wear sunscreen. She did say that being in the ocean may actually help it some.

You win!! It is pityriasis rosea. She made sure it wasn't a fungus though. He will be fine and hopefully the rash will disappear in a few weeks.
