  1. gimme more info on the area the puppy was lost in, we are going looking at houses today and if I am over there I can look! I see the rd names but have no clue where it is.

These roads are south and west of Yorkville off of hwy 101. Proctor and Woodrow Kay are off of Hwy 101, they cross and both run into Holly Springs. Thanks .

  2. My granddaughters 5 month old minature red male aussie got out and unable to find. She just brought the dog back from columbus, Oh. It is a little paranoid and runs from people. They live in the southwest part of the county around Proctor Rd, Woodrow Kay and Holly Springs. If you spot him please PM me. Calling the shelter now.

  3. If you continue to have problems, You may want to get a book called "Math Made Simple". This book takes you from 1+1 to "theory of probability" . I purchased one when I was young(a long time ago) because I had a job that required some trig. and I did not take that in school.

I also bought a updated version for my grandchildren when they started algebra. I purchased them from ABC School Supply.

  4. "Shearin responded at the conclusion of her time by saying that property lays perfect for an industrial park, it is just about as flat as can be and that would not add bedrooms to the community so that might be something the developer might wish to consider."

Guestion: Why would the County Commish even suggest an industrial Area amidst a heavy residential area?

  5. My grandparents on my mother's side both came from Schleswig Holstein, Germany. When they came to america, they said they are now americans so they will speak english. So their 12 children learned very little german and my generation learned none except for a few words.

But one thing they did was to teach us to love that german cooking> Bring it on!

  6. You might try some of the local people next time. My family and I have had transmissions worked on four times over the years. Each time we have used Gene's transmission. Not once have we had any trouble after he

    repaired them.

ps. don't pre-judge his workmanship by the outside appearence of his establishment.

  7. My NO vote was to tell the BOE that I am watching you. If you need it, tell me what for, don't ask me to sign a blank check. When you ge my money, to please use it wisely also.

When I see a perfectly fine chain link taken down and a wrought iron fence put up in its place, also a gym/auditorium being erected on one side of the school and a new lot to put more trailers on the other side, myself I do not think it is wise use of others money

The next time, tell me specifically what my money to be used for and I may vote YES.

  8. After having a new set of tires on your car, have you tried loosening a lug nut.

Yesterday, my daughter called and asked where she could get a tire repaired on sunday, she had a slow leak around a screw in the tire.. I told her to bring it over, that I had some plugs to fix it.

Where the screw was at, required for me to remove the tire. I used her tire iron, the nut did not budge.

I got out my breaker bar and socket . Nut did not budge. Put 30" pipe on the breaker bar. twisted end of breaker bar off (MATCO Tool). Got my 4 way wrench from truck, nut did not budge. Put the 30" pipe on arm of wrench. After literally picking up the car with wrench, the nuts came loose, but twisted the end of wrench.

By the way "granny ma" is a dude , 6 ft 240 lbs.

At the most your lug nuts on a car should be tightened between 90-105 ft/lbs. Even on my F250 Super Duty, they should only be 140 ft/lbs.

This also happened to me in the past with my wifes car at a different tire dealer. These people turn these impact wrenchs to max and do not think of what they are doing to the poor customer who may have an emergency and need to change a tire on the side of the road.

Next time, tell them to use a torque wrench to tighten the nuts to spec. It may take them a few more minutes to tighten and I have had some hellacious looks from them, but I still insist.

  9. I do not know the whole requirement, but if it was bought brand new, I would keep meticulous records of dates, names and actions. Then I would contact the state to get the paper work to enact the "lemon law". Do not let them put you off. This would just strengthen their case.
