He got caught using some fabricated quotes and never bothered to check on their veracity. I called him on it. Out happens in a heated discussion and someone wants something to be true but doesn't really understand the content or context. People who do have training in these areas know a little more and are not fooled by such misrepresentations. It is not all that much of a large deal. I'm certain he wouldn't have intentionally misrepresented the history. It was a mistake of trusting another source that is not trustworthy.

I'm sorry but that is NOT true. The quotes were NOT in the Federalist Papers and I gave the link for you to search. Second, you DID cut and paste it because the EXACT phrases you are using is all over the internet in forums and other places. Here. Let me Google that for you. My link If you prefer I not use spurious I can easily use others falsified; lying; those work just as well. Again you DID say the Federalist Papers. Here is your exact quote: Read the federalist papers. They are the documents that the Constitution was drawn from and they are very clear as to the intentions

Perhaps you should read the Federalist Papers instead of using the copy and paste feature and repeating things from biased sources. The quotes you gave are spurious and are not in the Federalist Papers. Federalist Paper #28 My link Federalist Paper #29 My link Federalist Paper #46 My link I'm also going to include some links that American primary grade teachers utilise when covering this material. It is worth considering the context of what was being said instead of plucking the assumed meaning from a few phrases out of context to contrive a position. Federalist Paper #

I'm exited! I'm spending the day with my husband volunteering at a food bank. And I completely disagree with the original post that started the thread.

You're absolutely right. My spell checker hit out right, though I didn't.

You've got me. I should have posted (and I shall correct it immediately) A 7 year old's mum was arrested after taking a gun and ammunition in his rucksack to school.

After two McEwens, the world is always good. And the women of Everton are quite delightful, so says the men I've known.. That's all I've got to say about that Don't let them get to you and dissolve what sanity remains..

That's kinda the point, mrnn. I've never claimed to currently be a British subject. Never. I've never claimed anything other than that where graduated from high school (Altoona, PA), that did extensive education work and travel in varied occupations and places, and that I currently am employed in a managerial position for a health care facility, a position I've worked very hard to secure and made the right decisions/moves to make sure I would one day be eligible for it. My husband has done the same and we are involved in several ventures of outside employment/income that we keep private. Other

Don't disagree with you there at all.
-
Tell it to Fox News.
-
Now that's funny.
-
Perhaps it is news??? Not everything has an agenda. Maybe some groups do but not everyone else.
-
Don't' disagree with any of it. Not one bit. It is exactly what I've been saying, had you been paying attention. Save the part about the "forum floor." Obviously, you didn't understand what was being said, but whatever.

It's no personality. It's all me. The conspiracy theorists are the ones who have the ideas here.
-
We do this quite often. And it is a lot of fun and quite jocular.
-
However, my husband and I are having a dinner party tomorrow and I've invited a few of my managers and staff to attend. That is accurate.
-
Or perhaps I'm just seeing how far the conspiracy theorists will go with this. I've been called everything from a Canadian, to a British Subject to a Georgian native. The conspiracy theorists are having a field day. Fact is,.as I've said many times over, I graduated from high school n Alatoona, PA. After school my husband and I traveled extensively with various jobs and associations. Yet, no matter how many times I say that, I still get accused of being someone I'm not. So the conspiracy theorists may continue their ideas. It is laughable.

May the gods bless you! You deserve mega kudos for this post. + 100

No. They are looking for the best qualified students. And the aid they give to the best qualified is quite a nice package. Even in private prep schools like my two laddies go.

American universities are looking for certain level of coursework,

We smuggle better than the best that may be purchased.

I'm not saying there is not one diploma, only that the college "track" is there whether anyone calls it that or not.

A server at a cafe in Houston, TX, refused to serve a couple who took umbrage at a Downs Syndrome lad at an adjoining table. The couple moved to another section but continued to insult the lad, saying, special needs children need to be special somewhere else." The waiter informed the couple he would not be serving them due to their ignorance.
