  3. You can call animal control to get the rules - 770-445-1511 - or go to http://www.paulding.gov/index.aspx?NID=82 to look it up. You are going to have to tape the dog barking for more than 15 minutes and it can only be between certain hours. good luck.
  4. not a problem, hard to find things once in a while

  6. You can take your dog on the Silver Comet Trail. You just bring something to clean up after your dog if needed. The trail head at Seabord & Hwy 278 is a Dog "park" area. It was dedicated to Tara Drumond and has fountains just for dogs For other dog parks, you have to go to another county - Paulding doesn't have a dog park. Have fun!
  7. We did our grilling yesterday, invited neighbors over. Was a fun time and lots of food. Today will be tips w/ gravy, egg noodles and broccoli. I planned to do not much of anything today, so it is all working out!!
  8. That would creep me out too. Knowing someone I didn't invite into my house was in my house. Good to hear that you had nothing taken. Hope it doesnt' happen to you again and they catch that guy. I hate a thief and edited to add: no, I don't think they caught the guy(s) doing all of those breakins on Hiram-Sudie.
  9. Armymom & MrsApple -- I'll be keeping your dad/husband, you both and the entire family in my very positive thoughts. Let us know if you need anything.
  10. My husband likes to ride the trail, does it a couple of times a week if possible. Loves it in the fall. Every so often I think I'll join him but I'm not sure yet. The last 2 times he had me doing over 15 miles which is pretty tough if you haven't been on a bike in 25 years or more. Happy riding to you and your wife! Hope you get others to join you.
  11. :::wipingawaytears::: thanks for sharing and sending us all a good reminder to live life.
  12. They fixed up my rescue and for that I'm grateful! I recommend them as well as my usual Vet staff I can't live without!
  13. A Diary from Dixie - Mary Boykin Chesnut. I finally finished it after a long time, but that is because the entire book is her diaries from 1860's and it is old english. Hard to read when you have to translate too! and for those who are interested, her husband was high up in the Confederate escelion (sp?) and had some great insight into the politics of what was going on during the Civil War. It really can be interesting when you figure out what was going on.
  14. Happy Belated Birthday! As someone else said ... Virgo Rock! Many many more years to you and to yours ... sounds like you are !!
  15. I hope you have him home for many many years!
  16. If you don't feel safe walking your own street with him driving on it -- Call.the.Sheriff. Doesn't matter how many times the Sheriff is called and they come out to talk with the parents, eventually either the Sheriff will take additional actions or the parents will make it stop just so they are not hassled any more. Best hope you have is that they or you move ........ GOOD LUCK! I'm going to add, I think it is different to "teach" a 15ish person to start to learn to drive (w/ supervision) verses the less then 15 yo in a car by themselves driving around situations. 1st scenario is
  17. Keeping an eye out, will be in that area later today. Please contact the Animal Shelter 770-445-1511. Hope he is found soon!
  18. "Babies" (children) can surprise us all with their ability to expand our world. Teach us to look past a lot of superficial things .... Glad this one is very loved and has found home! Welcome Rosa to our pcom family!
