I think the job market expansion it is by what type of work or field someone is looking in. I'm in IT and my inbox is flooded with job openings all taylored around what I would qualify for. I see lots of jobs for people with those skills. Other types of skills? Not so much ....

Thunder & lightening near all morning, heavy rains at times. Once in a while a good gust too. Lost a big limb out of one of our trees but no other damage I can see yet. Our northern neighbors are getting clobbered - lots of straight line winds and some rotating. If you have to go out today, wait a bit. They are talking that around 10/11 ish the threats will go away and just rain until early afternoon. STAY SAFE & AWARE!

What a tough decision. I see both sides of pros/cons with each. I know you will pick the one that you should - your gut will tell you that. Whatever your decision is, best wishes to you in your new job!!

I have to go to work in the morning, but I go in really early. I am planning on leaving around noon and working the rest of the week from home. Don't need to run any errands until maybe Thursday as we are fully stocked.

Didn't post last night, didn't see this topic so ..... tonight we are having leftover bbq shrimp & orzo, feta & sundried tomato side along with a spinach salad with crispy proscuitto = yummy!!

Got my supplies on Saturday .... the important stuff = beer, coffee, hamburger & buns:)

^ yes! Also, watch your windshield fluid level and whether it is frozen. A frozen tank & lines can break. Apparently here in GA, most windsheidl fluid only is good until 22 degrees. I looked at mine yesterday and this morning and it was solid -- not.good.at.all. AND PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PETS ARE IN AND SAFE! If they are to be out, make sure they have a house wth lots of blankets/hay!!

Why are you putting her down at 7:30am?? I think I'm being obtuse, but had to ask? OTOH .... what stimulation is she wear her out or to keep her wanting to be up? what is her diet which isn't having a full tummy?

You are so right, you never know what a year will bring you, much less each day we are here. Sending wishes and positive thoughts to you and yours for 2014 health, safety and prosperity.

You may just want to let them know of your "find" so if someone calls they will direct the family to you. You don't have to turn her in or nothing. I'll keep good positive thoughts ...... she may be looking for the last fling of 2013!!
