looks good! and I agree ... hunger would come back later we are having a pork tenderloin I put into the slow cooker earlier with 3 diff cans of soup which will make a great gravy. got leftover potato pancakes from last night as a side and home grown lettuce, radish & onion salad can't wait!

We are having a simple meal Crockpot Coca-Cola Ham Mac-n-Cheese Steamed Broccoli Strawberries & Blueberries over a lemon cake, served with a bit of chocolate sauce & whipped cream and y'all meals sound great too!

Sorry - couldn't post earlier ... but you & Coco were in fantastic hands with Dr. Carpenter. One of the best surgeons I've seen for a local vet. Good luck in the days/weeks to come. Your persistance with her to follow the rules will be her key to long term full recovery. She's precious (and does have the pittiful look down good )!

How did they figure out fuzzbutt is a she? I've been watching all along.... Getting SO big. Learning to tear her own meat once given a big chunk. Spreading her wings and flapping. PFFFTTTT over the edge. Getting better at standing up on her own feet (which still have a bit of growing into, imho) Being left alone for longer and longer time ..... 8 wks old today (or yesterdayish)!

There was one last weekend. It was a female I believe, very shy but friendly. Not sure if she is still there or not. Come up to the Shelter today and see. They are open from 11 to 3. Today will be 1/2 price for dog adoptions, $25 cash (exact amount, no change) or check. ^ agree! There are quite a few who come through. Almost all are reclaimed or adopted, I hardly ever see them go to rescue because everyone likes them.

Last night we had chili dogs with lots of cheese. They were good & we hadn't had them in a long time. DH has some left for lunch this week. Tonight will be grilled chicken sausage in a tomato sauce, fried cheese ravioli and salad. Got the sauce already starting to simmer

no lenten deal here ... seafood is tomorrow night (roasted shrimp) so .... we are going for comfort food since the day has been so wet and chilly. Mealoaf with homemade chili sauce Hobo Potatoes (potatoes, onions & chives with lots of butter baked in foil) Steamed Broccoli with cheese sauce

Finely chopped garlic (depends on how much you like garlic) with lots of fresh ground pepper in a bowl Cover with olive oil Add a bit of fresh rosemary finely chopped or about 1 tbls dried rosemary crushed. I might leave in the frig for an hour or so to meld oil & spices/herbs Quarter or thick slice red potatoes (yukons work good too) Toss potatoes in mixture above & spread on cookie sheet Roast in 400 - 425 degree oven for 15-20 minutes depending on how they cook. so good! also .... google pioneer woman crashed potatoes or hot crushed potatoes. those are good too!

We went out today and had a big brunch/lunch celebration for our anniversary which was yesterday, so not really hungry. I did make a great roast beef au jus sandwich for dinner last night that was on grilled ciabatta bread & had horseradish sauce, sweet sauted onions and green peppers on top. YUMMY ... tonight will be that left over This week? I know for sure we are going to have ... Started working again for me mid day .... I was SO happy to see fuzzbutt, I was having withdrawals of not seeing him/her and was starting to think the worst on why the camera wasn't working .... WHEW!!! Piglet is doing fine and still growing (and I hope he/she goes into those feet - OH MY! )

I did finally get to get on today and at least do some catch up in between other work. The key I finally found was that I had to put the browser into "INPRIVATE" filtering mode .....
