  1. I admit, YEARS ago I let someone post something which I took WAY too personal because I had a bad day and was too touchy about certain subjects (and I going through some bad personal problems which did not help my perception of impact) and I lashed out and made a bad post but I still supported a fellow pcommer .... I did apologize but I'm sure it was a little too late ..... I learn and I have moved on I hope ..... But lately, all I see are lashing out to someone who doesn't support "my view" or "my political party" and I see the most right wing or left wing cites being being posted which
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES!! Hope he & you have a great day!
  3. Thanks for the morning giggles ..... hehehehehe
  4. $5000 an acre? Really? you had better plan to be WAAAAY out or even into the next county. I bought here 20 years ago and most acreage at that time was between $7000-$10000+ and I know it has increased since then (up to $45000+ at one time) even with the "housing" recovery it never dropped pre 20 yrs ago value. Even selling by owner will be higher at least what I've seen. Just sharing what I've seen .....
  5. Love lamb but not this year ..... I have a new Ham recipe for the crockpot I'm going to do .... 1/2 cup each of honey dijon, maple syrup and brown sugar over a crosscrosscut ham (up to 6#), low for 6 hours. Going to serve another new recipe of a corn casserole with bacon, and green bean or broccoli (not decided yet). For dessert we will have fresh cut fruit tossed with Grand Marnier over lemon cake or angel cake slices & fresh whipped cream. YUMMY (I hope) for the ham and corn, I know the dessert is great.
  6. We are having what we call "hamburger hash" .... a mixture of sauted chopped onions and green pepper with garlic, cooked 1# of hamburger, throw in caraway seeds to "toast" with the meat and onion/pepper mixture, and then add cubed potatoes (peeled or not). Add a couple of cups of broth and simmer for a bit .... YUMMY .... to be served with garlic bread and applesauce. Makes a LOT so there will be leftovers later this week and maybe even a portion to freeze for later.
  7. Doug Sanders, Sanders Construction. Will do the job right and for a great price.
  8. If you just give it a couple of weeks, I'm sure Paulding Animal control will have lots of puppies .... it isn't quite puppy season yet even though they are starting to come in. Good luck with whomever you find where ever you find her (him). Post a picture and tell us all about your new family member!
