He did sheet rock for us as part of the 1/2 bath we were redoing. We bought it, he installed, tapped, mudded and sanded - then did the painting, Installed the plumbing and toilet as well. You will need to call him and ask about licensing and insurance. He is mostly a handy man with a lot of experience in a lot of areas. Just ran to the store, about 5 miles down the road a bit. Took back roads to get there, little patches of ice every so often but not covering the road. Took HWY 61 back and dry the entire way. Not too bad out there. My driveway is worse But it is cold and the wind bites into you. Got to keep a sharp eye out when driving to make sure the wind doesn't blow you around. Home for the rest of the day ..... going to build a fire and get some soup for lunch. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Ice on deck under snow, nothing on driveway or patio. Maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch of snow. Glad it wasn't more WInd is gusty and cold -- bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrr I think we dodge it and I'm glad I'm not up further on the east coast!

I'd get gravel instead. I think it is called "chat" where it is smaller pieces (been a long time since I had to get some) and that would be a good base. Usually not all that expensive However you do it, good luck.

Box filled with straw or lots of fleece blankets is great - just seal the outside of the box with duck tape/plastic bag. Put food and water just outside of it. Move food and water closer to you over days to get cat used to you feeding and where new food can be found - like moving towards a door or additional shelter place. Good stinky food is good at the beginning like cheap human tuna in can or liver, then switch over to cat food with a mix to wet & dry, then to dry only if that is where you want to go. Got up early this morning and went out to feed the dog and saw the beautiful flakes coming down! Light dusting on cars, deck and tiny bit on grass, but nothing on the driveway. Don't think we are going to get much more. :::hoping::: this is the only type of snow we get this winter Editted to Add: It looks to already be dwindling down.
