  1. this is my story lately .... hoping someone will play with you better than I can right now.
  2. I do the bacon wrapped too ... but I "marinate" in a bit of honey mustard sauce and then sear or broil. We'll also do scallops seared in butter/garlic, with a sprinkling of paprika. For Tilapia: Sprinkle with Old Bay, saute in butter/olive oil until almost done. Finish with fresh lemon juice and a mixture of fresh chopped chives and lemon zest.
  3. you are going to have a LONG weekend ....... (((105-110 with heat index))) http://www.wsbtv.com/weather/index.html
  4. no problem asking, didn't want to just broadcast to those who may not know/care about what I do, so many around here already know . I volunteering on Saturday's (my day off) at Animal Control. I help to find homes for the homeless, take in donations or just being helpful for those who need help or do what may need to be done. After almost 2 months, I get to help again! I will hopefully find out what might be needed and post this weekend --- a side thing I did to bring in donations to help our furry companions. I am almost giddy to get back to helping
  5. Enjoying cocktails right now & preparing dinner Then I'm snoozing. I've been stressed, worn out and just plain exhausted feeling & I know this because I'm so tired and I'm about to go to sleep without food (but that wouldn't been good). So in a couple of hours I'll be sleeping (and this really is a big as I haven't been sleeping well). I'm looking forward to tomorrow which hopefully will be a great day, been a long time coming and I can't wait!!!
  6. so many listed and I few I've missed, lots I'll see over and over .... How about attacking your new list by "actor"? Like the 6-ways to Kevin Bacon theme. Find an actor you like and find ever movie they did and watch them, pick another and repeat! I'm thinking of doing this 'cuz I miss a lot of movies just because of time problems. ENJOY!

  18. Sorry to hear of the accident but glad to know things are going to be alright. Sending good-positive-fast-healing-with-total-recovery-thoughts for the surgery.
  19. or your great dane(s) either ... they definitely need more room! It is an interesting thought processes to downsize this much about what really is needed, but with it so tight/confined that "comfort" may be a question ... but thought it was worth thinking about what I have or need or want or deal with or where I really want to be.
  20. I do agree ... I love space, mostly outdoors and needs some space inside just to "get away". I'm just not sure I could do that is just 89 sq ft. The smallest I lived was about 700-800 sq ft, and it was interesting (long story). I just have been thinking about all of the stuff we have around here and whether to think about giving/passing on .... This story just brought up those thoughts again. I tend not to be afraid of small spaces, but I definitely wouldn't share that space with anyone else (besides maybe one cat if I could squeeze one in ).
