  1. CONGRATS!! very much deserved .... many many more year wishes to you all!
  2. yep. I decided that what I was going to post wasn't useful. I came back in to edit and was going to remove it completely. PCOM requires at least something posted when you remove everything ..... so "nm" worked

    ?

nope, not here and hopefully not. DH got his shot. I've been told to get one this year, just haven't remembered to do it while I'm out-n-about.
  4. I'm not much into the cornbread version, but that is just what I grew up with .... but they sound they same from there. I'll take whatever anyone wants to donate and have a taste test for, we'll do both!!
  5. and .... If you are not a dessert maker (like pies) or just don't have the time, then the bakeries can help (local shop, or grocery stores) (semi-homemade work too) pick up something and have it, lots of great desserts out there without all of the hassle and work (plus stress)!
  6. get a ham. honey baked is great. good suggestions so far, really!
  7. ((((THOUGHTSSENTTOEVERYONEINVOLVED)))) Thanks for letting us all know ....

  9. Zoo had posted something the other day, trying searching for those posts. Good luck!
  10. Sorry to confuse. PCAC is the Animal Shelter. A lot of rules changed on what was accepted or not, and I don't know if I know the new rules yet. I know they will accept canned food donations, but I'm not completely sure about newspapers. ^ she would know I just didn't want people to take newspaper up there and then get turned away. If someone know for sure, please let us all know.\ TIA/
  11. PCAC = Paulding County Animal Control. <--- They had the grand re-opening yesterday. PHS = Paulding Humane Society doesn't have a building or facility. As far as PCAC accepting newspapers, I'm not sure. I'd call and ask 770-445-1511. Yes, they are open today from 12 to 5. West Metro is closed today. but will be open tomorrow even though they are normally closed on Monday's http://westmetromarket.com/
  12. sounds wonderful luvtennis5! we are having a "get what you can" dinner -- got some stouffer's singles meals we each will just heat up when we are ready. I'm so tired and just not thinking about dinner besides the salads I've prepared as a side.
  13. oh my ..... (((many many thoughts for a complete and speedy recovery for JJ!!)))
  14. not going to read all the responses, but the answer should be "thanks, but no thanks" to the hosting of another super bowl .... we don't need it and should tell them that! do you realize the amount of money spent for a new arena verses the amount brought in by a superbowl? if the owners want a new stadium, let them buy it or the NFL commissioners.
  15. I don't know for sure, but I think that Hairazor or Allon Salon should be able to do this .... good luck and congrats to him for his decision!!
  16. doing leftovers here .... cooked a dish called "fiesta chicken with rice and beans" which I did in the crockpot this past weekend. was good (still missing something which I'll figure out for next time) but tonight we are going to have some of the left overs with a spinach salad. FYI ... the rest of the "leftovers" is a bunch of the rice and sauce which we think will be great with stuffing peppers, so into the freezer it went
  17. WOW .... you must be! 11 posts, joined yesterday and are already a paying member .... you are hooked bad!!
