As a former resident/northern(from birth to late 1996, 30 years) driver from NW Indiana and also worked a few years in Chicago; when it comes to ice, nope, not a chance. I won't do it no matter where I am although I have done it a few times and was glad to get home. Now with snow, yes, I can do it and did it many times in Indiana and in many snow storms. I can handle snow more than I can ice. As far as geographics are concerned, Indiana is more flat and is a bit easier to drive in snow(very slow of course) than here in GA. The community I live in; the power went out sometime last night and so I stayed under the covers and so glad it is back on.

It's suppose to reach near 40 today so it should a little better this afternoon.

I see pm rain tomorrow and in the low 40s and temps should get to 40 today and when it does, I will have to make a trip to Kroger.

Walmart must have been out of snow shovels and they thought staples might have some?
