Mr. JR isn't there this year. It's not because that it's cold. He is having back issues. Anyway that's his excuse. LOL I'm glad he isn't there, but I know he would love to have a white tipped bear claw thingy.

My Mom has a snuggie and she takes it off any time she gets up to walk. Her's is way too long. I can see a law suit or at least warnings on these. Tell Mr. Snuggie Toe that I am sorry.............that I laughed.

I do. I was still living at home. We went to the neighbor's house for the night because they had a fire place and we had no heat. We had a great time playing games and sleeping on the floor in front of their fireplace. I live in Marietta at the time.

I only had 3 of the test, so maybe that is why I don't remember paying $300.00. I did the neck scan thing/bone denseity (sp) and stomach scan. It was fast and painless. Great system they had. It was very organized and didn't take long.

Best advice on parking. The tag office is at the far end/middle area. So I usually go past the building and drive back toward the entrance/exit and park along the side. It's closer. Good luck.

I did this several years ago. They usually come around once or twice a year. I did it in Paulding at a senior adult living place. My Mama did it in Marietta at a church. I don't remember the price. I don't remember it being $300.00.

My hubby has been in scouting since the late 60's or early 70's I never knew he was in scouting. The uniform didn't have bell bottoms!! Yeah we are great people. LOL I'll talk to hubby. I'll need info: date/time (I'll look at the OP) how long to talk, place, free food etc.

Bartow County schools are closing 2 hours early (per WSB News) I checked their website and it was confirmed. Cobb County BOE Website said that they expect the weather to come in around 3PM and as of now they are not closing schools early. They will decide at 11:00 AM tomorrow if they will close early. Paulding County has no info on their BOE website. Just FYI at 5:00 PM

UM, I'm know you are thankful for that. He did make the news once, but not in the way he has before. WOW,I am so glad your sister has recovered. You do have a lot to be thankful for. I can only imagine if this had been my sister and hearing her scream from pain.

I am thankful for a wonderful husband and my Mama who is still healthy and with us. I miss my Daddy so much.

My sister took the class and is doing pretty good toward paying off her bills. My hubby and I are living debt free. It's a wonderful feeling.
