The wait is long, but the care is better than my regular doc, from the few experiences I have had.

I love it!

...please be sure to tell my ex you saw this posted too, since you feel the need to tell her everything else I do. If she cared what I say here she would surf here herself. Think about that.

We are supposed to be doing the Hoe Down again this year. It was great last year, especially for the first time. Roasted a whole pig. Yummy little sucker. Oct. 18th I think we are shooting for. Details will be forthcoming.

Oh good, people are talking now.
How do you feel about someone using the name of another organization in print without permission, clearly in an effort to undermine that organization's event?

Uh, is he calling long distance?
No idea, but aren't we paying someone to do a specific job, and doesn't that office have a specific purpose? Maybe we can use the Clerk of Courts office to sell bows and ribbons, perhaps?

I thought someone was picking on my bud there for a minute....

Should the county inspector be using the county permit office and phones to promote a golf tournament he is hosting, even if it is for a good cause? Discuss.....

The American Legion Post 111, along with members of the community, will be holding a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday, May 26, at 11am at the war memorial in downtown Dallas. The memorial is located between the old Citizens Bank building and Eberhart Funeral Home. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

The kidney foundation calls me about once a month with a truck in my area. Might give them a call. It is for a good cause.

Do they take other stuff, or just clothing?

Do you have any 32 men's stuff? If so, I'd be interested. Hubby and son are both in them....however, they prefer Levi's (they fit them best). Please let me know, I"d be interested in buying if so.

What sizes?
They are all different sizes, mens and womens. Some were mine, some my wife's, and a lot was donated. All different kinds of stuff.

Some of it is new with the tags still on them. I don't want to just they them away.

BTW, people who drive but don't ride can benefit from this information too. Here is the link to the MSF information site for car drivers.

For the record, this is not intended to teach someone how to ride a motorcycle. Here is my response to someone who asked that:
This isn't geared for just newbies. Anyone can benefit from it. You would not believe how many people have ridden for years and still don't have a clue. This is intended for people who already ride or who want to start riding street. It is for safety and defensive driving instruction, not for teaching someone how to ride a bike. There are full blown licensed, bonded, and insured training facilities for that (but they aren't cheap). This is just intended to be helpful information for people who ride but have never taken a safety course, or for those who have (like me) but need a refresher. Also, the Motorman DVDs are very entertaining, as well as filled with great information. I urge everyone to take an MSF certified course, but for those who can't afford it, this is good information. The majority of the material comes from the MSF, and they encourage people to hold classes for their riding group or community

If you insist...
No, check out her thread from earlier
Ok, I looked it up. First, you would not believe how many people on here have "Georgia" in their name, but I must say this comment really gets me:
"But that's not my problem considering I didn't want to take it (the motorcycle exam) and never even read the book."
I sincerely hope this person never actually ends up riding on the street for long. Might as well put a bullet in a revolver and spin the barrel. It is safer.

Check w/ Georgia Tornado.
:runs from thread giggling:
Call me dense, but I missed something here.
This makes me so mad!

My thoughts exactly. We do a lot of things for charity, including for the PCMA. Most people are grateful for what we do, but you will always run across those who think the world owes it to them.
