  1. yes, great philosophy, but doesnt answer the question. Its a job, not a way of life. again, ITS A JOB

I think as long as something you are doing doesn't affect your job it doesn't matter. Teachers probably need a drink more than any of us. It's like when someone on here was complaining about some teachers being "witches". As long as they don't teach it to the kids I really don't care.

...and while we are on this subject, anyone out there reading this that likes to report my every move, I am off today, so don't feel the need to tell anyone I am playing on the Internet at work :angry2:

  2. I want to post a request for the SAL, but the rules say if you are a 501 © 3 non-profit you must present a letter. We are, and I have one. Where do I send it? Via mail, post it in the CC forum? I know the days of just posting requests in the Cafe don't fly anymore.

  3. The one I went on was the one where you ride the black trolley around town. I can't remember the exact name of the tour, but it was more funny than scary. The lady driving the bus was a piece of work. She gave us water pistols to spray people on the sidewalk when she saw something that didn't sit well with her. Most of her narration of the supposedly haunted places was also humorous, but I still had a good time. I would rather do one of the walking cemetery tours next time though.

  4. Since I also do all the bills at work <_< I go through the mail here. Like at home, ninety percent of it is useless garbage that no one ever needed nor wanted. It is unreal how much junk I toss in the trash here every day. Our forest are disappearing while land fills are getting full because of useless damn advertising and total junk mail.

  5. AS IS means as it is right then and there. I had a guy call me about a motorcycle that blew up after he bought it. It was knocking and I plainly pointed that out to him and told him I wasn't real sure why, but that it was running good. I rode it around and told him it might run 10 minutes or 10 years. Otherwise it was in great shape and I was selling it cheap. He bought it anyway, and the 10 minute estimate was just about right.

He called after it blew up and wanted to know what I was going to do about it. I basically told him too bad, so sad. I am a very honest person when dealing with others, but I told this guy the truth and even stressed that it was knocking, and he still bought it. He didn't push the issue after I told him I wasn't going to do anything about it.

  6. We love going to West Metro and do a large majority of our meat, fruit and veggies there!

PS...Hey ScapeGoat!!! Hope you are doing well...how is the jam coming along? :D

We loved it last year! Blackberry is wonderful! :)

I haven't been in there, but I am definately going. Yep, the blackberry is the bomb damn do diggity!

  7. We really like to stay out on Tybee when we go. That way you've got the beach right there and then you can drive into Savannah to enjoy all the "town" things.

Are you talking about the condos? That's exactly where we stay!

That would be it. Unit 28B. Rent it through Tybee Island Rentals. Good view, right on the beach, right at the mouth of the river.
