I am looking for a singles group for folks that are over 40. Are there any that are currently active in Paulding? It's kind of difficult to get out and meet people when you have a busy schedule, and the bar scene isn't it. lol

It looked really ugly. Hope all involved were OK. That is a bad intersection.

I came through the intersection about an hour ago, and it looked like a very bad accident. Lots of emergency vehicles, and traffic was being detoured around it.

We were coming home via Business 6 about an hour ago, and saw an accident involving a motorcycle below the courthouse, going toward Hiram. There was a lot of law enforcement and emergency vehicles there, and it looked as if someone was gravely injured. Hoping for the best for those involved, but it did not look good at all.

I visited the World Trade Center in the fall of 1996. Very well said, and a good analysis of the way it works, especially in the SEC. This comes with schools that have strong traditions and legendary pasts. And I have to agree with you about Florida - Georgia loses that one and it will definitely be time for Richt to put out his resume. And there will be some top-notch program out there ready to pick him up.

I wouldn't say today was the nail in the coffin, but I think Richt is now officially on the hot seat. A great guy, that's for sure. But like any other high-profile program, they are looking to take it to the next level, and in very recent years, it just hasn't happened under Richt. Richt is a great coach - he made Bowden look good as offensive coordinator at FSU - as evidenced by the decline in that program after he left. Some really nice thoughts - very uplifting. Sometimes it's hard to remember that the glass if half full. Keep those heads up, everybody! One thing I have learned throughout the years is that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and it can come when you least expect it.

I can only speak from personal experience. My daughter is not currently on meds - as a matter of fact, the doctor encouraged her to wean off of all of the meds she was prescribed by a private doctor, as she felt they made the problem worse. Her assumption was correct. The counseling does seem to help. I just hope that the OP gets help somewhere, wherever it can be managed. What's best for some is not best for all. And if you don't have insurance and/or limited resources, a private care provider can be very expensive - I have found this out the hard way.

I do agree that the person in question has to be receptive to the idea of treatment. Thank goodness you sought help, and I pray that the OP's son will be willing to do so as well!
