  1. Good afternoon fellow P-commers, Ready to hire a landscaping company to install nearly one dozen pallets of sod grass at our home and wondered if any of you have used a company that you would be willing to recommend to do that work? I need the installation done in the next couple of weeks so looking for some recommendations from the forum based on past / actual experiences dealing with these companies. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for any advice you are willing to share.
  2. I agree with you completely....they should step up the fines for littering to $1,000 per occurrence but enforcing it is pretty difficult. I mean i never see anyone driving in front of me littering while driving down the roads so I am puzzled as to who in the world is doing all of this! We haven't signed up for a formal adopt a road program but my family and i have spent one saturday every month trying to collect all the trash in front of the neighborhood entrances. It's just a never ending battle though, because as many of you have pointed out...it will be looking worse than ever about 2 we
  3. You have? I haven't seen anyone in nearly a year it seems. If you are seeing them all the time picking up trash, then they aren't doing a very good job at it because you'll be up to your ankles in garbage if you just look along any major roads around Hiram.
  4. I am absolutely glad to hear that we are not the only ones that are sick of this blight! I did find a form on the Paulding County services website ( http://www.paulding.gov/forms.aspx?fid=42 ) that will allow us to each report litter as a problem along with other issues you might have. Maybe we can all take a few minutes and submit the online form to at least get the ball rolling?
  5. Would any of the members of this forum know who we should petition, lobby, cry out, protest ...etc to get some of the trash and litter picked up all over the county? While driving down the roadways in the county it's just absolutely disgusting to see the mounds of fast food cups, bottles, and debris that are strewn all over the right of way along the road shoulders. I drive through lots of over counties in the metro area and don't notice this problem in the more affluent areas of cobb and fulton. Roads here like Summerhill Connector and SR61 Connector are just absolutely drowning in litt
  6. If we had Senators and Congressmen that had the intelligence, courage and best interest of the American people in their hearts, they would move us onto The Fair Tax plan and those companies that had to flee under our destructive tax system today would come racing back to the US in droves and bring a ton of jobs with them! I really do hope that we all find the time to line up and vote in the next election for a complete fruit basket turnover of our leadership positions in this country. The people in place simply refuse to hear us and Washington is too far infected with the corruption to tr
  7. Just driving back home from Home Depot and decided to take Seaboard Ave to avoid the traffic lights home and noticed that they have cleared out the trees and starting to grade at the corner of Rosedale Dr and Seaboard Ave. Anyone have an inside scoop to let us know what might be coming there?
  8. I have received phone calls from a man with a very heavy Indian accent claiming to be from the I.R.S and in very broken English and poor sentence structure he insisted that I need to call him back immediately to avoid "legal persecution" and that I need to send them several hundred dollars as a sign of good faith in repairing my debt??? I really hope they track down these latest scam artists and prosecute them to the full extent of the law....scam artists and computer virus / identity thieves are just sickening!
  9. Good lord, it's not too late....we can still save you before you reach the point of no return and tell us you are watching "The View"! It's going to be a long road back but I want you to watch Deadliest Catch marathon for 24hrs straight to purge Dr. Phil from our mind, next you'll need to sleep with power tools (preferably a gas powered chainsaw) beside you so that the smell of machinery can work on your subliminal consciousness while you sleep (Dr. Phil probably might have referred to this as aromatherapy on his show)....if you can stick to this plan for a week, we might (and I do say might)
  10. Get rid of our horrific tax code immediately and implement the FAIRTAX now and this is a non-issue. If you don't support the FAIRTAX plan then I just really consider that quite ignorant and I am further saddened by the direction of this country!
  11. I used them in an emergency as well and agree. I would recommend them without hesitation.
  12. Yet another example of the reckless and purely destructive effects of the Affordable Care Act that has been the bane of the American people since it was conceived. What a complete debacle!
  13. Everyone in Washington is responsible for this mess. The only real solution is a complete fruit-basket turnover of every single elected official. Clean house and start over. I am sure there is some good people there but there's so much corruption and deception that we have no way to sort them out. Now we are stuck with the Affordable Care Act and every politician in Washington should lose their job over that debacle!
  14. They should just let the store close along with the Kmart across the street... For years they offered high prices, cold impersonal and just down right terrible service inside. They provide absolutely NO incentive to want to go into that store at all.. Shut it down and just let Staples take all the business from them....they are doing it now anyway.
  15. With the culture of corruption and "good ole boys" in Washington today, it's apparent that this commander in chief will not hold anyone accountable in his organization and if it's that way at the top....then we have no hope of it changing so that the women in our armed services can receive the equal protection and treatment they are entitled to and deserve. This current administration is so reprehensible it makes me want to vomit!
  16. I agree...if it costs taxpayers even one penny to change the name, then it's a waste of time and our money and we shouldn't have to endure this kind of disrespect. It's just like the Whitehouse putting 65 Christmas Trees inside the WhiteHouse and decorating them all... (ARE YOU KIDDING ME? In this economy and with so many people hurting you are going to slap us all in the face with that garbage). Again.. if it costs ONE penny to change the name then we should vote out of office those supporters next time because apparently they don't have a sense of priority here.
  17. Seen today...if you are the guy I pulled beside in traffic and you currently have fluffy, fabric reindeer antlers attached to the passenger and driver side windows of your automobile and when I look over you are grinning from ear to ear like a donkey eating briars then please deposit your man-card into the nearest waste receptical. Please don't continue to embarass yourself or other men any further and take those stupid things off your car. That is all.... Thanks, Grinch
  18. A modern version of Wizard of Oz could be fantastic!
  19. Goodbye Ernest, I hope they show an "Airwolf" marathon on TV to honor your best work. Although you played a pretty good cabbie in "Escape from New York".
  20. Hopefully they are renovating the place and will reopen?
  21. We like to swing dance and Zoot Suit Riot by Cherry Poppin' Daddies is great for that.
  22. Isn't America great? When a corporation decides that they think it will be a great idea to nickle and dime a customer who uses them considerably and one who they are holding tens of thousands of dollars for then I have the right to simply say "F -You" and walk away. Last Friday I walked into my local Georgia's Own Credit Union and they were happy to have me. Adios Wells Fargo and good luck with your plan to charge me a debit fee. You should have just eaten the da*n fee but instead you just lost my business completely to try and save $3 bucks per month. I realize that Dodd/Frank might h
  23. My family and I tried it on Thursday. It's fairly pricey but you control how much you get because you pay for it by the ounce. They have about 12 different flavors you can choose plus you add all your own toppings like a buffet style. Overall I would give it a 3 stars out of 5.
  24. Yea well then Wells Fargo can test out how closing down a $10,000 per month bank account will fly as well because that's what I plan to do as a result of this total horse$hit! That takes some real marbles to try and throw a debit card fee on to your customers ESPECIALLY in this rotten Obama economy. I'll be moving to Georgia's Own Credit Union as well.
