  1. Thanks for all the replies! I'll try E/W connector to 285 and see how that goes. I do have some flexibility to when I start my workday - anywhere from 7am to 9pm. Where is the best place to get on the connector from the Lost Mountain Publix area?
  2. Hello. I'm going to be commuting from Hiram to Norcross daily starting next week. My start time at the office is 8:30 am. When should I leave Hiram? I don't mind getting to Norcross early, because I can use the on-site fitness center or use the cafeteria for breakfast, but I want to avoid getting into the worst traffic.
  3. I rarely see someone write so much, so often, and yet say so little that makes any logical sense.
  4. Journeyman, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, My Own Worst Enemy
  5. In an effort to decrease the total mass of my kid's inventory of toys, we have agreed on a good bit of stuff to donate. I know I could easily take it all to Goodwill, but are there other organizations?
  6. I always thought cosplay was mostly hot girls dressing up like anime characters. Is there more to it?
  7. Is that who Allgood Elementary School is named for? Perhaps that is also why it is on Hart Road.
  8. Downstairs, I use the PS3 to do it via HDMI cable. Upstairs, I have a Roku box which has a large number of web TV "channels" available, including Netflix and Hulu. A great device for only $60. http://www.roku.com/
  9. Postman, are you by any chance friends with this guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA1hyqA6UTY
  10. Y'all really think that nasty Hiram Kroger was better than the Super Target? I don't see it.
  11. Yes! I think you would be pleased with a Baritone. To me, it is just the right size to be easy to play, but still very portable. Plus, it is tuned to D G B E just like 4 smallest strings on a 6-string guitar, so many of the same chord shapes apply, although in abbreviated form.
  12. You could be connected to the local network but not connected to the internet. In other words, you can be connected to a wireless router, but that router may not have an active link to the "outside world" of the internet. I've seen it happen when the DSL/cable modem goes out.

  14. I live at the bottom of that hill, and the only vehicle I have seen make it is a 4x4 pickup. Even the fire department couldn't do it!
  15. I saw that too and wondered what it was. Had an orange glow, didn't it?
  16. I'll second that. I am usually religious about changing filters every 30-60 days, but somehow I missed a round and the basement unit began dripping water out the bottom. I think it was because the dirty filter was causing insufficient airflow to the evaporator coils and they froze, then thawed, thus leaking water out the bottom of the unit.
  17. Any recommendations for a tree removal service? I have a large Bradford Pear that fell down in my front yard. I need it cut up and hauled away, and the stump cut off below surface level so I can bury it.
  18. Yes, jorts and mandals are one of the top male fashion crimes.
  19. Someone who attended told me that a woman passed out, possibly because of how crowded and stuffy it was.
  20. Which program are you in? I'm at KSU for a Master's in Art Ed right now. It hurts to be paying for grad school when your school district is telling you that you may not have a job next year.
  21. I got sideways on Mt. Tabor Rd. past Roberts Elementary doing 40 MPH.
  22. Two thoughts: 1.) Do we really want to give the government enough credit to have built an elaborate series of secret underground tunnels? They can't even fix the broken sidewalk in front of my house. 2.) The world has been scheduled to end many, many times throughout history, but in the words of Morpheus from the Matrix, "We are still here."
  23. If the laptop did not come with Outlook pre-installed, it probably came with Outlook Express, which is a minimal version of the full application. To get Word "back to normal," you should be able to click the envelope icon on the Word toolbar to toggle the view back to normal document editing mode instead of mail mode.
  24. The guy is an expert marksman, though. Did you see that part? I was pretty impressed.
