What about the Tanger outlet malls here?? How are they doing?? What about the outlet malls in Calhoun and Dalton?? I think Boaz was the original outlet mall in this area then others caught on and took out the one in Boaz. Yes, it's sad. I just wonder how others are doing??

When I was little we lived near Owensboro, KY. We went to town once a week to buy groceries, I got 10 cents allowance. Went to the drug store where they had a "fountain", ordered a coke (it was a whole nickel) and I was very angry..........she didn't ask what kind, I wanted a root beer!!

Naw, nobody asked Jesus to do that and nobody said he bought and delivered them, only that he provided the means to get them to the right place. Oh ye of little faith. I'm glad I was called to help and I certainly couldn't have done it alone. The riches of life do not always include monetary possessions. I feel very rich today and it has absolutely nothing to do with money.

Well MKMo3 has it under control..............she took the money to finish up what else they needed. I got donations from NewsJunky, UGA1 and LPPT, and she had others as well. Looks like Thanksgiving is covered but on to that Food Bank and Christmas.

Hey, I ran in to your husband at Kroger and I was on my way over there. (and I got a hug out of it. :yahoo:) I told Matt one of the turkeys were from you and your husband. When I left Pastor Matt at 11:45 he had 13 turkeys with more on the way!! :yahoo: Once they get everything organized they're going to let us know if they need any more. I know there are some others willing to help. What a great community we have.

Yay!! Only 3 more!!! I think he's going to be at the church at 11:30-12:00, during his lunch today. That's when I'm bringing them by.

Just checked the Kroger ad, frozen are also 59 cents per lb. That's only 8.60 for a 14 lb turkey. Ingles has honeysuckle white for 68 cents a lb but you can only buy 2. So..........since Kroger is close to St. James Community Church, I will be shopping at Kroger this morning. They only need 4 more, we can do this. :yahoo:
