Ours is the annual cookie baking day..........we bake all day, any kind of cookie the bakers want. Then we share with everyone we know. Today is cookie baking day in our house. My grandson is going to help again, he loves that rolling pin. I'll post pics later.

Reminds me of many years ago when I decided everyone was just way too busy to enjoy life. I read this somewhere and tucked it away in my heart and use it whenever I need it........... "If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours" how about a couple today :)

It's everywhere............even on my cheeks. I just wanted to put names on my new stockings, worse is it's iridiscent white (to look like snow) and my counter tops are white. Just when I think I've got it cleaned up, I walk to a different side of the island and there I see it sparkling at me just like it's laughing............argh!!!

The only one I watch is Lost but I knew this would be the final season..........it won't even start until February.

I'm not crazy about microwave food. Easier than the microwave is baggie omlets. Just put the eggs in a freezer baggie, add your favorite fixings, ham, cheese, pepper, onion, mushrooms, etc. and put it in a pot of boiling water on the stove. I smoosh mine around a couple of times while it's cooking to make sure the eggs get cooked all the way. Be careful not to break the bag. In about five minutes you have a yummy omlet and very little clean up.

Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

My biological father passed away in 1989, we were never real close. My mom and stepdad (who I love dearly) just moved 2 miles down the road last year. They are getting older and Mom has a lot of health issues. Dad needed help so they moved to Georgia. I haven't lived this close to them in over 30 years, it's nice having them close by.

When my daugther was 4 and my car needed to have the battery "jump" started she thought they were goind to "jump" over my car. I just said my car needed to be jumped and she took it from there. Hush, that was too much. We lived in Dallas then, near the old Walmart. We only lost power for a couple of hours, out here I understand it was out for a week!! ~~shivering~~
