Ignore them, get to where the dogs know your voice and tell them to quit. It may take a few times but eventually they will learn it's OK for you to be there. Don't let them take over your little oasis. They are only doing what is in their nature, when they get used to you they should be fine. I'm sure they don't bark at their owners when they walk out. Just give it a little time and tell them to hush!!

Yep, it's less because your house is worth less. Again, I ask you as I asked Feelip and he didn't answer. How would you feel about this tax INCREASE if your property value didn't drop??? They are collecting less because the houses are worth a LOT less!!! That is not a tax decrease from the BOC, you can thank Freddie and Fannie for the property value decreases. Business is horrible, but again we haven't done residential for about 10 years so the housing market hasn't affected us too much. Just wish there was a way to get more jobs!! I'm sure waterproofing and sealants are in high demand right now. Alabama isn't that far and they have a lot more going on than Georgia right now.

The increase didn't save you $2500.00, your house is now worth a lot less than it was last year at this time and a whole lot less than three years ago. The BOC didn't run up the price of those homes and they sure didn't reduce the price of those homes. The market dictates the prices of houses, not the BOC. You think it's great your taxes are lower than they were last year or the year before. Let me ask you this, if the price of your home had remained the same how would you have viewed the tax increase then?? This almost sounds like those clowns up in DC that think we're just too dumb

Property taxes did not go down as a result of the BOC, property taxes are down because all of your property has lost an enormous amount of value due to all the foreclosures. I guess we're supposed to jump up and down that our houses are worth so little now. This BOC has just raised your taxes.

Oh, yeah one went down the others went up. Paying more in taxes this year than ever before............... Property has devalued much more than that. Heck I don't think we could get what we paid for our house when we built it in 1993. I don't think anything is selling unless it's dirt cheap. Now who are the folks happy about this millage increase?? When are they going to come back out (after 6 months of calling already) and fix our road?? I love the folks at Pinnacle. They usually call me back within a few minutes. They have been here twice in the last week. I won't use anyone else. Moose, had a similar issue with the company you did. We just don't use them anymore. They almost killed us with a poor install of a heat exchanger. Cobb Air is a good company but it took forever for them to come out. I don't recommend anyone but Pinnacle.
