Buying a gun in your name for someone else is called a straw purchase. This is generally done when one person can't qualify for the purchase for some reason. The only time it was not an issue was in the case of purchasing for your spouse or child. So much has changed with the gun laws these days that I would not take a chance.

I believe you will need to go through a back round check and you will need to fill out a form 4473 if you purchase out of state. Generally the reciprocal agreements deal with carrying your weapon, however the back round check is a federal requirement.

Ok to buy a long gun but not a hand gun in another state. At one time to buy a long gun in a state other than your state of residence, it had to be a contiguous state. I believe that law was done away with however.

You should be getting about $18 a gram for 10 karat and about $27 a gram for 14 karat and about $38 a gram for 18 karat gold. If you are not getting those prices, pm me and I can help you out.

Yep, my Dr told me to drink beer to help flush it out. I quit drinking tea and instead drink lots of water, and often add lemon juice.

A friend had her debit card info stolen, possibly from a card scanner. They took all her money from her checking account then transferred all of her savings to her checking and got that too. All of the charges occurred in California. Bank never contacted her. She rarely leaves the metro area. So much for suspicious activity alerts.

Just talked with a utilities worker outside our neighborhood and was told that lightning struck a tree and blew out the water main. They are waiting for someone to come out and locate the leak so they can dig and repair it. No firm timeline, but they said it may be an all night job. Looks like they have a back hoe ready to get working as soon as they pin point the leak.
