According to one report I heard, Miss Jesse witnessed this incident and was very visibly shaken. (PLEASE don't make this thread about her!) I just wanted to point this out so that those that know her and visit with her may offer her some comfort.

I'm going to go ahead and admit that I haven't even finished reading the first page and that I'm in my 40s. I grew up in an era that spanking was quite common, and I got a few. 2 of the 3 republicans in the district 19 race have served on the school board, but I don't believe in any other elected capacity. Are we really going to make this about their BOE voting records? Because if we are, why don't we just pull both of their records during the time on the board and publish them instead of making this about what we think those voting records are. Does past performance determine future performance?
