That is a lot. I think if you add the strep and tonsilidas (sp) we can reach that number easily though.

Thanks for sharing Rednekkhikk. Hopefully we can get it done and be done with the whole mess. I heard that it could take 10-20 days (wikepedia) to heal. If we get it done I hope she recovers as quickly as you did.

Thank you. I am pushing cause we are all tired of it. Her being the most. lol. I'm glad your son is better now. I was reading up on it and it sounds painful. But, if it will help in the long run we will manage. Humm....guess we will have to see. Maybe they will do it b/c she also has tonsilatis (sp) a lot. I'm just sick of it all.

Well, the first time I called the lady (different lady) was very helpful and gave me the numbers to 2 places they refer patients to. I called and made an appt and they told me I need records for the last 12 months. So, I call her ped back to request records (of course I have to pay $15 to get them...dumb) and was very snarky. If they won't do anything about it I will. I have taken her to the minuite clinic 2 times in the last year, 1 time to take care clinic and 1 time to the immediate care on 41 for strep. PLUS, 2 times (if I remember correctly) to her ped. for strep in the last 1 1/2 years.

For those of you who have your tonsils removed, why did you do it? My daughter has strep AGAIN!!!!! I called and made her an appointment for a consultation to have them removed. She gets strep ATLEAST 2-3 times a year. When I called her ped. to get her records they asked me who refered her (in a very snarky way) to the ENT and I said me. They have not refered her yet so I think I should take matters into my own hands. I'm just sick of her getting strep all the time. Anyhoo, what made you get yours out and did your DR. refer you or did you just make your own appt?

I just don't get it. Why would you even ask so a stupid azz question???? DUH......Heres your sign!!! If its a pizza party then you should expect PIZZA. I have never been to a pizza party where the parents had fruit (although that is a good idea) or anything other than pizza, cake and icecream. To me it is just a really STUPID parent. I mean then don't take the kid to the party. Or like everyone else said feed the ratazz (ok only half kidding here b/c kids "usually" are a bit like their parents) before you bring them OR pack them a lunch. Thank you so much all for the prayers. I hope they are cysts and go away. They told her the neck was measuring big and they "think" it could be down syndrome. Although, through my reasearch I have not been able to find anything saying you can detect that through a ultrasound. I'm praying that the person who did her 1st ultrasound was just mistaken or my sis just misheard or something. I have no clue. I just pray and hope for a good outcome. I'm thinking it is nothing. I sure hope i'm right. If there is something then we will love little Joshua just the same.

I'm hoping it is nothing. I googled too but all I could find was for fetus around 9 weeks or a little earlier with spots on the brain. She was 23 weeks when it was done. She is now almost 27 weeks. Hopefully, your right though.

Thank you all. I will keep you updated. I am taking her to her appt. b/c her hubs just started a new job a week ago and cant get off. But, I'm glad I get to be with her during this time.

Please pray for my sister. She is going to a specialist on Monday to get a more intense ultrasound and some other work done. They say spots on her unborn sons brain. Please keep her in your prayers. I know prayer works wonders in general but especially in numbers.

Yeah she is a bit embarassed but she will get over it. I don't have money for 2 sets.

I have heard that too. Everyone I talked to says wait until ALL baby teeth are gone or I would end up buying 2 sets. No thanks. She is in 6th grade and goes back in Nov and they will tell us then if they reccommend them.
