I've been gifted a recliner made of Fine Corinthian Naugahyde. Problem is - the previous owner smoked a lot. Without using Febreeze, Lysol, Woo-lite or any other heavy cover-upper, does anyone know how to get the smell out? (mythbusters says vodka and water in a squirt bottle works but that's just... abuse.) I'm coughin and wheezin and dyin' ovah heyah. ty.

Thankfully, no. But Dh is still a little keyed up about things on the roof. (hence going out to check when it's just windy.) lol Yeah -- 2004 or 05 I think. Gotta love paulding sometimes. lol

Nah. We had our roof replaced a few years back. The equipment was up there over night & some jackhole climbed up there thinking we wouldn't hear him clomping around stealing stuff. I called 911 while Dh watched him do the bionic man jump off the roof and run into the woods. Cops came, went after him, and all was taken care of

Yep. Dh just went out with the gun, thinking someone was on the roof. (again.) He came in, noted it was windy. More likely wind that (more) meth heads on the roof.

That's awesome. I give my thanks to all the bus drivers out there for what they do. It takes a special person! (and know myself, there ain't enough xanax to make me do it! lol )

m3g, I used to crave chocolate milk when I was pregnant with my 1st. Now I can't eat chocolate in any form. It makes me ill -- even 7 years later

My favorite cookie. OMG I can make myself sick on them. I used to crave Martin's chili dogs (thank goodness they serve the menu all day long ) and Sonic Grape Slushies.

Work Out Anytime doesn't have childcare. It's just a great big room with equipment - bathrooms, etc.

This could also be an option. The One Laptop Per Child program laptop is pretty inexpensive, and durable. Works on a flashdrive and linux.

I think with the proper blocks, ipads would be awesome for school kids.
