  1. Did you mean Grandmother? Because LOTS or women are moms by the time they are 33....
  2. I would guess either it's a company policy not to hire under 18 or they meant they needed a permit. But if it was the former I would think that would be age discrimination, wouldn't it? (Unless the restriction was due to serving alcohol.)
  3. Wow, yer goot at math and figurin' skills...
  4. Paulding is pretty back logged right now, I would guess closer to 60 days unfortunately....
  5. Why does that matter? Because the college edumacated people have been impressing us left and right?!?!?
  6. Um ya dude, from Chickfila! Granted they are no McNugget but they are a good substitute on the off days!
  7. I am happy that y'all found something to fight about besides the election but dang it now I want some grilled nuggets!
  8. There is natural gas service in Seven Hills I am pretty sure, gas stoves abound in there......
  9. Looks like the kid is getting to go..... CLICK HERE FOR STORY TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — A 4-year-old cancer patient who was denied a Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World by her father will get to go after all. So many donations have poured in from around the world that the girl's mother and grandmother will be able to pay for the trip in August themselves and give the rest to charity. "We didn't do this to get rich," the girl's grandmother, Lori Helppie, said Friday. "We did it to fulfill her dream, and people's hearts just opened up." The young girl, McKenna May of Haskins, was set to

  14. When someone locks themselves out of their car.... ( I guess it could also mean lockout of thie business but let's hope it was the former... )

  16. You have to overlook poor sparky, he tries his best to be a productive p.com citizen, bless his heart....
  17. You are just too much fun Sparky! Exactly! My uncle went into remission from cancer and then the drugs were so harsh on his body it left him susceptible to yet another cancer and he just had his vocal cords removed a few years ago. It's crazy how much damage the drugs can do on top of the disease itself....
  18. At least your useless posts are consistent! I have to give you credit for that!
  19. We have all three! We only have the Amazon because Prime gives us free two day shipping which pays for itself just during Christmas shopping season. I would say our top two would be Hulu and Amazon because Netflix is so freakin limited and updates are rare, but my kids love the kids shows on it.
  20. I guess I am not understanding how the mom is being selfish in this.... If I read the article correctly doesn't it say that the parents (I am assuming both) have to sign off on the trip. So if one says no, is there any sense in leaving the request in place? Ok I just looked on Make a Wish website and it says that the child must be proven to have a life threatening condition, it does not indicate it has to be terminal. Learn something new every day!
  21. I was thinking the same thing, if the girl was not terminal then it was the right thing to let Make A Wish know that they no longer could accept it. But when I saw that Make A Wish was disappointed they pulled the request then it was more of a "what an ass" feeling....
  22. CLICK HERE FOR FULL STORY All I have to say is IF Make a Wish was ok with the offer then why in the world would he have an issue with it? I can see if he said, no, we have the means to take her ourself but apparently he doesn't. All I can say is WOW! ************************* The mother and grandmother of 4-year-old McKenna May, who survived leukemia, are collecting money to get the little Ohio girl to Disney World after her father nixed a Make-A-Wish trip to the theme park.McKenna's father, William May of Toledo, said using Make-A-Wish money for a child who is "free and clea
