We went this week at lunch and it was really good. They were really busy and only had two girls one in the kitchen and one waiting on customers. The phone was ringing off the hook, I felt sorry for them. I think the owner left right before the rush....so maybe he needs to stick around for us hungry lunch hour people. Other than the wait, we will consider going back. Food was good.

Are any of you on High Shoals the ones that fly up and down that road? People won't slow down when coming around that first curve. There was a car that wrecked there yesterday. That road is 35 and people run 55.

The State DOT has reduced the speed limit on 61 at High Shoals, Windmill and Mt Moriah/Rock Store to 45. People need to slow down. Roads don't wreck people....people wreck on roads.

They (BOC members) can't even share an idea with the public much less put it on a ballot. They were crucified before the ink was dry on the paper. How on earth could we vote on something that doesn't have a viable location yet? That is what all this information from the meetings, newspapers, etc. was about, a concept....you know an IDEA....that they were shopping around with the other counties. If you watch the Carroll County video, those people have no idea where the road is going, all they know is they don't want it...period. Carroll County probably doesn't care about a new interst

Okay so you suggest for the state to take/purchase the land of the people living on 61? What about the city of Cartersville? Widen thru the historic part of Cartersville...... 61 connects 75???? Really....How?????

Anything I got is for sale for the right price....most people are going to leave acres and acres of land when they die to their family who will turn around and sell it. Thats how we got all the subdivisions in the county.

You all are getting mean on here for no reason....read my words....The Toll Road is a NO GO. You are all getting all worked up and going to the expense to put out signs/fliers and arguing for nothing.

Do you really think that everything that a government office proposes needs community input? This was a idea that was initally shared with the other counties and cities that were going to be involved. You have to have the agreement with them (county/cities) before you can launch the project. The line on the paper was a proposed area that was being considered. They had to have a beginning point and ending point. It wasn't set in stone it was an idea.... Now everybody is freaking out, saying ugly comments and unneccesary meanness for no reason. I for one am eager to see growth in our county.

Only two posts so far and they are both about the Toll Road and saying negative things about our Chairman....hmmm Wonder who you rally are ? Come on people get a grip and show some class in your posts....better yet why don't you call the Commissioners office and say some of these things that you have posted on here. Maybe for once you will learn the truth and quite speculating.

I went thru the drive-thru last week. It took me 15 minutes to get two steak and gravy dinners. They tasted awful, green beans were nasty. Someone I know ordered two cinnamon rolls. The indian man told them he couldn't sell just two because he had to cook 6 at one time. They had to wait for him to cook them while sitting in the drive thru... Hate to see anyone loose money with a bad investment such as this, but I am afraid that they will be closing soon.

Oh I know, I don't like the guy from school. When he put Daniel in the bed when he was drunk did he try to kiss him? I like Nolan...I just hope he doesn't try to blackmail Emily.

I thought the dog "Sam" was going to give it away.... It annoys me watching ABC programs on On Demand. You can't fast forward thru the commercials. I wanted to see only Chaz/ity dance on DWTS and I couldn't fast forward.

I could see myself doing that....and know a few that I could do it too! I am thinking it is going to be like Harpers Island, just one season. Last Wednesday night was good....I wondered about the computer geek too. I think she will end up with Jack and he will soon figure out who she is.

Okay.....what did you think of last nights episode!?!?!?!

I may have to go back and watch Pan Am on On Demand. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not. I kind of thought it was going to be cheezy...but I will give it a try since you had good things to say about it...

Last nights episode was so good!!!! I love this show!!! I could see myself wanting to do those type things that she is doing....

I liked Harpers Island, but I like Snapped too.... I was very surprised at who the killer was. I am not going to spoil it in case you want to go online and watch it. Oh and if you missed last weeks episode of Revenge try to go online to get a re-cap or I can update you. It was really good!

I am really liking this show....I watched the two previous episodes again on On Demand last night so I could follow it better tonight. Is anyone else watching it? It kind of reminds me of Harpers Island as one by one she destroys peoples lives....

Explain to me how you can use manufacters and store coupons for the same item and get some of them free. I don't quit understand everything. I do know someone that do this and she bought like 15 bottles of liquid soap.
