Adding in my prayers.
-
I highly recommend Rainwater Heating and Air! Very Honest, respectful, price is always fair,(or below what the others want), and does excellent work! The best in the business, as far as I am concerned! I have tried some others out there and wasn't happy or the work wasn't good, always had to call Rainwater to come back and correct the problems the others didn't do right. Save yourself the headache and hassle and just call them to start with.

To the strange kid in rummaging in my garage...........
ivylove replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Very odd, and scary, indeed! I guess there is no way he might have accidently thought you were fixing to start a garage sale, cause if that were the case, he would not have fled. Plus, if he was on a bike, with a backpack, I guess he was looking for tools or small items he could quickly stash in his backpack, and get away quietly, and quickly. -

I was wondering if it might have been a younger child, that maybe didn't know better. But, I think that a mid-teen would know better! What area are you located in? Maybe others have seen, or know who this kid is? -

How could somebody kill a five year old (truly innocent) baby!!!!! -
By the way........I wonder if OJ has ever found the "real" killer yet? Wasn't that going to be his lifelong mission? I guess the "real" killer is still out there on the loose? That is actually a really scary thought! I hope he finds them soon! How many years has he been looking for them now? Oh well.......sorry for the small hijack......this post just made me remember this........Back to the case at hand.

After reading the original post, I was going to suggest the fair tax as a possible solution, that might work. However, after scrolling down the comments, I saw that you had already posted this suggestion. I wonder if, and how many of the Republicans would agree to this?

What part do you think the Government should oversee?

Sounds to me like some of these companies better figure out some ways to cut the fat, or they will price themselves right out of existence!

I have also been wondering how she has been doing. Glad to see her posting again, and I am betting that, if she is like me, she won't be able to stay off too long. And heck......I don't care if she can spell or not. Neither can I.

I thought "used" items would not be taxed under the fair tax, as the tax had already been paid on those items once? -

I guess I just feel that our "current" tax system is just so skewed toward the wealthy and corporations, etc, presently, that it couldn't be any worse that what we have now. I am thinking that the wealthy can afford to hire all sorts of accountants, lawyers, and lobbyists to get out of paying much of their taxes now anyway. -

I like the idea, because I think our tax system is just too complicated that it is just a huge burden on people. You see, I am thinking that the rich/corporations already have so many loopholes in place, in our current system, and/or have their money hidden away in overseas banks anyway. I am actually thinking that if we had a fair tax type of system, it might actually mean that the wealthy would end up paying more tax, take the worry and burden off working people, and create more jobs. And, also, it would seem to me, that it would eliminate the need for the wealthy to "hide" their money in -

When I read this post, I was thinking this same thing. -
I know you have been trying Butterfly. I have seen, read, and enjoyed many of your comments and posts. You are often on my mind and you are definitely in my heart, and prayers. I think you would make a great leader of a crafting and gardening group, if we can just find a few others that would be interested in some creative fun and good fresh food.

Monkeytail, you might just need a little more motivation. I'm thinking that you probably need to find, or start, a group that enjoys doing something you deeply enjoy. It would probably give you the motivation to go do it. Maybe you are somewhat bored with the types of socializing you are offered, currently?
