I am happy you are educated. I think your knowledge is a bit one-sided; always has been. One who would SERVE on a citizens' committee should be open to opinions. The problem are the people who think County residents opinions as "hoopla" and "nitpicking". Especially those who served in the 'Citizen's Committee', hand selected by the BoC. That's my perspective.

My opinion is anyone running for a public office (County) not state, should not be a renter. Should Commissioners own property in the post they were elected? Should State Senators own property in the states which they are running for office? It just seems logical to me. I want someone who owns property in the County, who's decisions have a direct effect on our City's and lives in PC.

Re-read my post. I said it was legal, things need to change in the system. I do believe to run for office you must be a property owner in the County you're holding office. I just found this out today, and I have a problem with the politics of the system. I shall be writing the necessary people to see what I can do to see this become a thing of the past. You are just trying to muddy the waters with the voting thing. Not falling for it.
