  3. Nope,I refuse to go into a place where I have to pay, just to pay to buy something anymore. I have been before and it's a good show with a lot of relics displayed. But you can see the same thing on the internet free. I'm like your dad,I go dig it myself
  4. Yes,but Paulding Forest also is out that way, another 19,000 acres.Once the corn is gone the bear will move on.
  5. The problem with the euro hornets nest is the way it's constructed. In side the tree it will look just like a paper wasp nest, but one on top of the other, sort of like a wedding cake. The reason you can't kill them all is because they crawl to the top where the spray can't reach. They are very aggressive and are the only bee that flies at night. They are attracted to light where they kill their prey.
  6. Not really....it's close to Sheffield WMA.
  7. Appears to be a young bear.Probably a male that was run out of another area by a bigger male. More pics can be seen here. The GON forum. http://forum.gon.com/showthread.php?t=561009
  8. Unfortunately, most of those relics will end up in the backroom of some museum buried under redtape and never seen except by a few archies
  9. Pic is from a trail camera.Bear should be safe unless he is poached as there is no bear season in Paulding.Pic is in the North Paulding area.

  16. You are right, they won't taste the same. There is a lot more agricultural crops in the midwest.I've been told those deer have a "sweeter" taste.
  17. Bergmann's rule applies here,in that the further north of the equator, the larger the animal will be.Those Minnesota deer are a different subspecies. Odocoileus virginianus borealis is most likely the largest of the whitetail subspecies and occupies lands from central to eastern Canada south through Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Traveling east it can be found throughout Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and up the Atlantic coast to Maine, Nova Scotia and beyond.
  18. I came in last Friday july 30th to buy a birthday cake for my wife at the last minute. It was great !!! Can't wait till I'm down there again to stop in.

  20. But if you can calm the beaver, then tame it,where you can shave it......makes all the difference.A clean, hairless wet beaver is a lot of fun to have around. They are a joy to pet and pamper and if done right can actually give something back
  21. Yep,and people that like to "contact" these friendly spirits have no idea of what they are messing with. I will tell you my experience. I was in bed asleep one night when something woke me up.At the foot of my bed stood satan. No,he wasn't the red horned figure from the comics, but just a dark evil shadow and I knew who he was.I could also see other demons around him. He came to claim my soul. Paralyzing fear gripped my whole body as I lay there,...but next thing I knew it was morning.I shook it off as a bad dream. Next night,it happened again....and I was terrified. When it was dayl
  22. In no way do I believe in ghosts, the soul ain't coming back to this earth, once death claims the body. BUT,like you I know there is a spiritual world.I have seen some of it,scared is not the word to use for what I experienced.
