I am not sure who was planing on taking their son to Hiram for the free football camp starting tonight at 6:30-8pm, but i wanted to let you know that it is cancelled because of the weather. It will continue next wednesday night at 6:30. Please remember that its a free camp and open to everyone that is playing football and it doesnt matter what park your currently planing on playing football with.

If the local goverments don't have the money they had previously to give the jobs and projects money to be funded than someone and somethings have to go away. With a sales tax option we can make sure that we don't lose funding. And all the while hopefully curbing the furlough days that's costing LOCAL families thousands per year. I use to work for the DOT and left because the money was not good and what was there was being taken away little by little.

I will vote YES as well. We can take advantage of better roads, faster moving traffic and additional roads to alleviate some congestion by adding a penny per dollar tax. YUP makes sense that this small addition will bring Paulding County DOT well over 10 million dollars in a short period and all of metro Atlanta will pay for it. It's not a PC tax, its a large portion if Ga seperated out and grouped together as sections. I love improving PC and keeping the status quo is making my property value drop or raise so slowly that we can never improve our way of life.

I'm not sure how this will lower the value in their area. There is hardly anything in that area now. I guess I just like the idea of not traveling far for products. But the main part I was speaking about is... Why anyone would want to work FOR a county that has a huge % of people that don't want progress. It's always something negative about growth or business.
