Texas school calls police for trying to buy lunch with $2 bill
lowrider replied to Riptides's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I still have some $2 bills my granddaddy gave me. I should try passing one off. LOL -
In front of the hospital? I got a NIXLE People are in such a hurry. There's no reason to have an accident at that intersection. It's a good one.

Trying to find a good used car for my son
lowrider replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Auto Trader? Do they still have that? LOL. Craigslist. I know. I hate Craigslist. But, to make a long story short, I did my research and got my grandson just what he wanted last year. It was for his graduation/birthday. I bought a one owner from a lady in Alpharetta. Pulled every report I could on the car. And prayed. We got lucky/blessed. It's been a great car. -

Some others have mentioned AutoHouse on here. I hate buying cars. Good luck. -
I think there was a location given above. In HIRAM.

There is a reason for not burning during the warm/hot months. We already have a problem with dirty air and the heat and humidity keep the smoke locked in. I can't breathe anything burning. It irritates my lungs. And it really pisses me off when people burn late in the day into nightfall. The smoke lingers in layers like smog. When people burn in my neighborhood I just stay inside. And nobody loves to burn piles more than me but I always did it in the morning and made sure it was out and not smoking when I was through. I miss burning. And my burning was limbs and cleanup from th

Just a question, but isn't burning now banned since it's May?

I know back a year or so ago they actually damned up the lake at the Werbells and I wondered then If they were getting ready to widen it. But then all the construction was done and the lake is back where it was. I know there's a lake on each side of the road right there at the Werbells and last year the remaining items in the Werbells house were sold off. We went to the estate sale. Mitchell and Geoffry sold Brigraide Quartermaster years ago and Mitchell is living on an island somewhere. So I'm thinking maybe the property has been bought up, because further down the road where the S

I used to use Cedartown and it was easy and convenient. But I used Carrollton when my grandson got his real license and they were great. I don't have to show up with my life until 2017 so hopefully all the kinks will be worked out of our new one. I'll try it. The GPS probably sent you out on 27 where it used to be years ago. Now it's at the complex where the jail is. And just to add I probably haven't been to The COBB office for 40 years. Back then it was a nightmare. I used to use Cartersville years ago.

Thank you!

Simple question? Is Bill Carruth/East Hiram parkway going to be 4-lane all the way from HWY 278 E to HWY 278 W?
-
So are y'all saying it won't be a complete 4-lane until 2030? Because of the 92-Bill Carruth intersection? I'm really lost. And I'm with you a about the airport roads. Airport roads to where? An empty money guzzling airport?
-
Ok what am I missing? They have the bridge finished, they've cut down HIRAM Sudie and the lanes are basically finished and ready to pave. I mean they still have some work to do there at the state patrol area but what else? Where else is it supposed to go?
-
That's a shame. I always try to let a manager know. The owner may not know what's going on. At least that's the way I look at it.
-
Ok maybe I'm lost but what does it mean Bill Carruth to 4 lane? It is 4 lane (or soon will be all the way). Is there more?
-
You might get 5 minutes from me waiting. Not 10-15. Was there not a manager you could have talked to?
-
IKR??
-
Well, I guess I won't be trying it.

What's for Dinner thread and cleaning out the freezer?

Pasta Premavera! I love that stuff. It's a lot of work cleaning/prepping the vegetables but it's worth it. -
Wouldn't any time be family time? Now I admit I didn't go, but I know who I'm voting for and for what reasons. But if it's for the family, wouldn't an informed citizen be a better citizen and able to provide a future for their family? I find family time a weak excuse, after all it's for the family. Each and every one of us.

:::Groan::: It just goes on and on and on. Our county is just shot to hell. I'm moving to Florida and live in the warm sunshine and talk my kids into moving to Costa Rica.

Tom Petty was 8 when Prince was born. Prince was onstage dancing with James Brown when he was 10. Prince followed in the footsteps of his father who was a musician. Prince could play 27 instruments, most of which he played on his own recordings for the songs he wrote himself. Prince wrote his first tune, "Funk Machine", on his father's piano when he was seven. He wrote numerous songs for a lot of artists, sometimes their one and only hit. And some were written under pseudonyms. Don't get me wrong. I love Tom Petty, saw him at Lakewood sometime around 2004. I loved National Geographic. I've got a collection from the 80's into the 90's that I don't know what to do with them. I've got some of my Great Aunts from the 40's.
