Colored? Haitians are colored? Is that Arkansas speak? What color are they? I haven't heard anyone refer to the black people as colored since the 60's. Why don't you go live in Cuba since it's such a great country and you can get your medical care there at a reasonable cost. Better yet, move to Venezuela and have no medical care or food. Chavez and Castro were good buddies.

I voted NO on the SPLOST! I'm tired of it year after year after year and new parks at the courthouse and sidewalks to nowhere and an airport that sits empty that's costing us a fortune. And no, it's not for the children.

I forgot to post that I used a cucumber also. I would love to try an English Cucumber next time, but I couldn't find one when I was shopping. I'll try. It's on FB. Now I changed up the salad. It didn't call for roasted corn but I love it in a salad so I roasted a couple of ears and cut it off. It calls for squeezing a lemon. I did about a half and it calls for olive oil, which I didn't use. I used a little ranch and it was delicious. I'll get on my laptop. It'll be easier to C&P.

I know the county tax man is around in the neighborhoods. Probably trying to drum up more of our tax money for all the nit wits in charge of our county government.

Well, since congressmen are making a gazillionaire dollar$ in "donations" for persuation, I consider them to be in the pockets of the congressmen. These lawmakers don't want to lose their extra chump change. That's how I look at. Either way WE are paying for it.

First off, isn't Big Pharma in the pockets of Congress? And Health Insurers? Wouldn't that be the first step in the right direction?

I don't understand why you liberals are so jealous of the rich. There will always be rich folks. We can keep capitalism and folks can work hard and smart and get what they want and as rich as they want to be. Or we can adept to socialism and everyone will subsist except for the rulers and dictators. I prefer capitalism where at least I have a fighting chance to have something. Under socialism you will never have more than the dictator decides.

Well I know this much. Last year I paid $1.86 for an RX. This year it's $22.00. All of my prescriptions have gone up as they have since obamacare was passed. It's a dismal failure. I'm lucky I've got the coverage I do. But my children and grandchildren don't and they can't afford the premiums under obamacare. We've done this song and dance before. You all love socialism so much, enjoy because it's coming.

If you're inferring that it increased when I retired it did not. I was very fortunate to have worked with a company that paid for my insurance. As a bargained employee when I retired my insurance was $10 per month for the exact same coverage I had while working. Miminal co-pays and cheap drugs with no deductible. As soon as obamacare was passed it jumped to $100 each month then $200 each month with increases in co-pays and deductibles, each year. And it keeps going up. What's your point?

My premiums never increased until obamacare was in effect. I never had a deductible for drugs until obamacare. My co-pays go up every year. Every year my premiums and co-pay increase. And so it does with everyone I've talked to. I know my grandson can't afford obamacare. At least he's poor enough he doesn't have to pay the TAX, but he still doesn't have health insurance. Wasn't that the point? Everyone could afford health insurance? And you could keep your insurance if you liked it?

Well so much for homeland security. You can't believe the old people that had to jump through hoops to get their license renewed when this first started. And all the paperwork I had to have when Jordan first got his learners license. I have to get mine renewed in 2017 and I'll carry my marriage license.

He's probably taking about Obamacare, but I thought I heard the government was going to give the insurance companies subsidies to continue to do business with Obamacare.
