  1. It's May 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th at 7:00. $5.00 advance and $7 at the door
  2. I saw the full moon last night. But the limbo? past my prime
  3. I didn't know that. Apparently a Sheriff operates by a different set of laws. The incorrigible, bully sheriff Victor Hill of Clayton County shot and critically injured a woman today. When officers arrived, they say he refused to cooperate or give a statement. Officers were called to Britt Trail Drive on a report of an accidental shooting, according to police. Hill was released from the scene while the investigation continued late Sunday. Officers planned to execute a search warrant at the home, Doan said. It was not known whether Hill would face criminal charges for the sho
  4. I thought I would add this for anyone that doesn't do FB http://harrystacyfarms.com/
  5. I remember back in the 60's my step-dad always had to watch the Friday night fights sponsored by Gillett. I enjoy watching a good fight like Ali, Sugar Ray, George Foreman or even Holyfield, but I swear it seems like I've heard about this fight for a year now and I'm just glad it's over. And I think Mayweather is a thug. Yeah, I said it.
  6. For strawberries I've been here, I've been for 2 years and I took the grandkids. They loved it and the strawberries are reasonable and good. They should be ready the end of this month https://www.facebook.com/pages/Harry-Stacys-Strawberry-Farm/36342087705
  7. Actually, I think I'm confused. This thread is over a year old and you chose my "nevermind" to respond to. I don't remember what I said this morning much less a year ago, but I don't think it was anything against you.
  8. LOL That's something I would have said. And speaking of education, I've met many people from all over the world, and the most common denominater amonst them all: Higher Learning Their emphasis on higher education is tangabile. And not one degree. They have 2 or 3 or more. And not one language, 3 or 4 or more. They come to this country to succeed because the opportunity is here. Our system sucks when it comes to University. Other countries provide it for their people for free or at least at a cost they can afford. Here, you can't afford to send a kid to colleg
  9. I didn't know about this until I took my grandson to get his learners license. I told him he would have to sign his name. You know, write his name in cursive. He says "I can't write" and I'm like what? What do you mean you can't write? He says they don't teach cursive in school. So I showed him how to write his name and then that summer I showed him how to write cursive but he still has trouble reading it. I think it's a shame.
  10. On the best day I pay $8.99 lb for bone-in Rib Eyes at West Metro, normally $12.99 lb. but they are fresh cut black angus. And the taste is wonderful and flavorful. All you need on them is course ground salt and fresh ground pepper. Let them rest to room temperature and put them on a hot grill.
  11. That's what I was thinking. Who knows who's going to spend all the money, who's going to take charge of her care? After all the money is gone and she's still lying in a coma unresponsive in a facility that they can't afford because all the money is gone. Who makes the decision then?
  12. It can never replace the hurt of not seeing their graduate walk across the stage and get their diploma. I'm just glad it was abolished in time for my grandson to graduate this year, because he is not a good test taker and he does struggle with math, and I may have been heartbroken as well. At least they can get their well deserved diploma.
  13. I know where you're talking about and they've been there for decades and I've heard they're good but I don't want to go that far and wait all afternoon. That place is busy!
  14. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm praying for Gods peace and comfort for you and your family in the coming days.
  15. That's why I said Brandsmart is gone, I'm not driving 40-50 miles just to go to Brandsmart LOL And no, I didn't think of Pep Boys. Thanks
  16. I don't eat crawfish. We used to catch them in the crek. I think you gotta be a little bit of a coon ass to eat them
  17. He has the speakers, amp and subwoofer with all the connections. He just needs a new radio installed. He went to Best Buy, they sold him a Pioneer that wouldn't fit and a bunch of other junk he didn't need. They did an up-sale on him. We returned it and I've covinced him to get it professionally installed. He wants a double din. When we had his other car done we did it at Brandsmart and they did a great job at a reasonable price. So now with Brandsmart gone, that's why I'm looking. Thanks for the info.
  18. I need to get a stereo installed in my grandsons car. TIA
  19. True that. Everything bloomed this year without getting frozen. My blueberry bushes are full. But I swear I always thought blackberry winter always used to come in May.
  20. This place ships, I was going to say, you probably have to go to Louisanna, http://www.lacrawfish.com/ and http://www.cajungrocer.com/fresh-foods-crawfish-live-c-1_15_19.html
  21. Ya'll can say what you want about Norton, but I'm on my laptop with COMCAST and can go from page to page to page with no problem. LOL I've used Norton since I first had a desktop and I've never had a problem. Never any malware or viruses. I've actually clicked on links on here and it has stopped me. I don't like to go where it's not necessary. It has even shut down when I've clicked on a link that's dangerous. At least now it's free with Comcast.
  22. IKR? Only in the south do you have to put a sweater on over your sun burn from the day before.
