Update: Thad is back at Kennestone. He is bleeding in his chest cavity and his left lung. They have him in the ICU trama unit. They're putting a drain tube in his lung in the next few minutes and will operate the middle of the week. He's strong and will be fine.

I would say a lot of people do. Since it was a neighborhood pool in a public place, I would have stayed. And at the first sign of trouble we would have left. However, if it was a party at someone's house that I knew well, I would leave a 14 YO for a daytime pool party. Again, it's a cultural thing, talking back, cussing, provoking authority.
