  1. I knew this was coming: Rachel Dolezal: Caitlyn Jenners story resonated with me . Dylan Stableford By Dylan Stableford 3 hours ago Yahoo News Rachel Dolezal, the former NAACP leader at the center of a controversy surrounding her race, says the case of Caitlyn Jenner resonated with her. I cried, Dolezal said in an interview with NBCs Savannah Guthrie that aired on the Today show Wednesday. Because I resonated with some of the themes of isolation, of being misunderstood to not know if you have a conversation with somebody, will that relationship end then because th
  2. That is great news! Hopefully now he will begin to heal and get better.
  3. She told me she got a visit from you and you made Thad feel a whole lot better. One day me and you are going to have to hook up! I just got to meet this person that everyone talks about being so nice.
  4. I talked to Melissa about 3:15 and they had taken Thad back. She said he had a much better night last night and she got some rest also. She will call when he's out of surgery into recovery.
  5. Just bringing this up to remember Thad in your thoughts and prayers.
  6. Really? He incites riots on here with his hateful speech and videos. I guess it's a pigment of my imagination.
  7. Tomorrow, Tuesday, June 16. I'm starting a new topic so that those that visit here occasionally can get caught up on how Thad is doing. It has been 3 weeks since he was first admitted to Paulding Wellstar and then transferred last week to Kennestone. He was bleeding in his chest cavity and left lung. He was admitted to ICU. This is the latest today, and I have Melissa's permission to post. Please remember Thad and Melissa in your prayers and especially tomorrow at 3PM, when his surgery is scheduled to begin. If you have the opportunity to stop by and see Melissa I'm sure
  8. At least not face to face 23-year prison sentence for woman in slow cooker death . Associated Press 47 minutes ago DETROIT (AP) — A Detroit woman who was drunk when she killed a friend with a slow cooker during an argument over presidential politics was sentenced Monday to at least 23 years in prison. Sullivan, 51, beat Cheryl Livy, 66, with a slow cooker at the victim's Livonia apartment in October. At the time, Sullivan's blood-alcohol level was 0.41 — five times the level for drunken driving in Michigan, defense attorney John McWilliams said. "I didn't ta
  9. I just talked to Melissa. They are replacing the feeding tube now, and they are still draining blood out of his left lung. Surgery is tomorrow. They will be putting the 4 broken ribs back together with a metal plate and cleaning inside his lung. Remember he and Melissa in your prayers. I don't see how she does it.
  10. I heard this on the news. From what I understand it won't change the murder conviction, but it has something to do with his mental records being allowed. My question is why? What will it change? And my bigger question is will they ever get that witch that was in on it?
  11. Again, you assume too much. I don't personally care what she does, but how could she think she wouldn't get caught. And why pretend to be black? There are plenty of people in the NAACP that are white. There were plenty of white people during the 60's civil rights movement. For me it comes down to lying. Trying to distance herself from her own heritage and pretend to be something she's not. She could have suceeded on her abilities alone. I still stand by the fact she must have some mental issues. Oh, and Integrity. No one has any integrity anymore. As long as you ca
  12. You have an excuse for everyone, Pubby. She has resigned her position. I mean really, how long can you go around pretending to be a different race than you are when your family and friends are still around to out you. Obviously, she has some mental issues. Rachel Dolezal resigns as leader from NAACP Spokane chapter . By Michael Walsh 6 minutes ago Yahoo News Rachel Dolezal stepped down from her position as the president of an NAACP chapter in Washington State on Monday. The civil rights leader, whose racial identity made headlines last week, made the announcement
