It seems to me that you simply just don't understand what it takes to make this type of thing happen. Yes, there are more ways to get more energy out of the fuels we use. Turbo's on automobiles do exactly that. They take wasted heat energy that is normally dissipated in to the atmosphere and they convert it to a rotational energy to turn a compressor to help an engine make more power. But guess what? When you stuff more air in to an engine and have to put more fuel with it or you run it lean and it burns up. It's not that we CAN'T do it, it's that it is not efficient or cost ef

I'm sorry, but that is just total Bullcheeze! A weed blower will NOT produce boost in an automobile engine, with any significant results, especially a small black V8. ANYONE that knows anything at all about how turbo's and superchargers work knows that. Weed blowers work off the principle of moving large amounts (volume) of air. Supercharges and turbos are COMPRESSORS. A weed blower is simply not powerful enough to make compression. It's really simple concept. Go take your weed blower and put your hand over the exhaust (blowing) end and listen to motor. You can damn near st

Yes, the pull of a magnet is a form of energy. So what? You think this video is kosher? I suggest you do some research on magnetism and especially friction and thermodynamics. A few years back people were saying you could use an electric yard blow to make a "turbo" for your car. You simply plug it in and it acts like a turbo making more energy. It's simply not possible. "There's a video on Youtube, so it MUST work."
-
Exactly. You cannot "Create" energy. All you can do is convert it from one form to another. When you convert it from one form to another, you ALWAYS lose some of that energy by means of the conversion. It's not "lost" just lost to your immediate use. This is exactly how and why turbo's work. They take normally wasted heat energy and convert it in to rotational energy to drive an impeller, which drives a compressor, which boosts the air going in to the engine. We convert gasoline in to rotating energy by means of the engine. The heat is wasted energy that we recapture for use in

Chevy vs Ford - I'm so irritated with my chevy
NITR0 replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I guess that depends on your definition of "easy fix." You either replace the cylinder head or you put a helicoil / timesert thread insert in the existing head. In either case, the cylinder head has to come off to do the repairs. -
Chevy vs Ford - I'm so irritated with my chevy

It's not really a Ford is better than Chevy or vice-versa. You could have bought a Ford that had the same problems that your Chevy had. Both of them make pretty decent trucks and both of them put out trucks that have problems from time to time. A couple of years back, Ford's had problems with the 5.4's literally blowing the spark plugs out of the holes, threads and all. They all have things that fail more often than they should... some trucks have the part fail sooner, some later, and some maybe never. As long as they are man made mechanical devices, problems will exist in AL -
Yes, you can be held without bail, if the judge believes you are flight risk. Bail is nothing more than insurance for the court to make sure you show back up for court after being arrested. If the judge has no suspicion that you are a flight risk, they set bail.
-
I agree about the judges... To answer your question about where it's writtien that a killer must have bail... It's the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution. Not saying the bail wasn't too low, but they have to be offered bail based on the severity of the crime. Yes, I believe $30k is too low.

I miss that place too. The lady who own/ran the place always had her mom making the desserts and man they were good!

ig·no·rance [ig-ner-uhns] noun. the state or fact of being ignorant; lack of knowledge, learning, information, etc. As I said, just admit you didn't know they were one in the same. If you knew it, you wouldn't have presented them as if they were separate. Just admit it and admit you learned something today. -

Your comparison is not even close. When you are discussing your house, you don't say, "I'm going to remodel my house AND my kitchen." You say you are going to remodel your kitchen, one implies that your kitchen is inside your house. You say you are going to remodel your house, it may or may not include your kitchen. When you make a statement like you did that says people don't know the Constitution OR the Bill of Rights, it pretty much shows that you didn't know the two were one in the same. Just admit that you didn't know it and had to look it up. Now, you're a little more educ -
The term "Potato Gun" is not what you are thinking. A Potato Gun is a slag term for a firearm with a silencer that is being illegal used or imported and doesn't comply with the NFA.

Rumor of Extra Cops and Roadblocks This Weekend

Whaaah! Personally, I don't see any reason for you to comment on how I comment. The comment was made because a LOT of people start bellowing about what's in the Constitution "and "Bill of Rights" when they don't even know that the Bill of Rights is PART of the Constitution. People's knowledge of the Constitution and what it actually states is pathetic. -

I'm well aware of what the Bill of Rights are, where they are located, and what they do.... thanks. I'm glad you were able to google this information and learn something. The Constitution is encompassing of the Bill of Rights. They are not separated. -

I agree with you... but it's also funny how people say "I can see the American Constitution and Bill of Rights don't mean much to you..." Don't these people know that these are NOT two seperate items? Don't they know that the Bill of Rights **IS** part of the Constitution?? -

Backing up and reinstalling your operating system for this is SILLY. All you have is some sort of hardware device that isn't being recognized. Either a USB controller driver has stopped working or a device has been plugged in to your system that hasn't had the driver loaded. Shut your machine completely down (power it off). Unplug ALL the devices connected to it, except the mouse and keyboard. Turn the machine back on and let it boot up. Look at the device manager now and see if the device is showing up. It likely will not be. There are very few mice and keyboards that will not -
Some of the older tanks don't have access ports. You have to clear the top completely and remove the lid.

Typically, for a two bedroom house, you should have a 750 gallon. A three bedroom house should have a 1000 gallon. And every bedroom in addition over three, you add 250 gallons per bedroom. Those are the 'general rules of thumb'' but building codes in your area may dictate differently, so it's always best to call and find out.

Once you are a judge, you remain a judge. It doesn't matter if you've retired, you retain the title, unless you have the title revoked. It's kind of like a Marine. Once a Marine, always a Marine. Doesn't matter if you are active or not, once you graduate you are a Marine for life.

Actually, Judge Judy IS a real judge. She was appointed by Mayor Koch to a NY criminal court and then to a family court..

Yep, and seeing it takes 2/3rd's of congress to pass an amendment that would repeal the 27th and another 3/4's of the states to ratify it, it simply will never happen. While technically not impossible.... yeah, it's impossible.

Better yet, put a sign in your front yard that states, " I have guns in my house... come steal them when I am not home!"

LOL! Awesome!

STUIPID advice!! Follow this advice and you will be going to jail for reckless conduct and reckless discharge of a firearm. If you pull a firearm on someone, firing at them or near them, you BETTER be in reasonable fear of your life. Otherwise, you'll be spending some time in jail.
