  1. Not in Paulding County. In Paulding County, the lawyers suck-up to the judges, laws and procedure be damned. If the client is ignorant to procedure and depending on good representation, that client is probably dumping money into the courthouse money-pit. I've got an email from an attorney that says a guardian ad litem isn't required to write a report. If you read the Superior Court rules it says such a report is required unless the Court specifically relieves the GAL of the responsibility.
  2. The fear and the pain in the father's face is heartbreaking. The observational behavior was clearly passed from one generation to the next. His daughter's future is uncertain as she conformed to her mother and grandmother's wishes and flashed the bird at Joe Barrow as they left.
  3. This is a 2 minute glimpse into the world of parental alienation. No big deal? Man up? Imagine if a father and grandfather treated the mother in the same way... The mother touches the father several times but I bet at some point in the past she claimed to be "afraid" of him and needing a TPO. http://youtu.be/f-0aneFygOo
  4. Well said, that is the answer I was hoping for. It said everything I was looking for and more. Awareness requires participation. No one can do it alone. Thank you for your input.
  5. Many people think I'm particularly hard on moms and not on dads. I'm hard on any alienating parent. Alienation is not gender specific. It just so happens that most alienating parents are more frequently moms because they win custody better than 85% of the time. Just like unknown to most, child abuse most frequently occurs at the hands of women NOT men. This is simply because more women have custody of children. If custody where more even handed the number of incidents would be so as well. The article below is of an targeted mom. Most frequently, alienating dads are wealthy or in positions
  6. These are 167 red flags of parental alienation: http://www.brainsyntax.com/Home/MessageDetail/342 These are known strategies used by alienating parents as listed by Dr. Amy JL Baker: Strategy 1: Badmouthing the targeted parent Strategy 2: Obstruction parenting time (visitation) of the targeted parent. Forcing the child to decline spending time with the targeted parent. Strategy 3: Interfering with communication. Refusing any type of communication. Texting in place of the child using the child's phone. Refusing deliveries mailed to the child. Strategy 4: Interference
  7. Quantity of friends or quality? If you put yourself in a compromising position, who is to blame? I would hardly call a lawyer or a judge, for that matter, helpless or defenseless. This isn't some unfortunate mishap. He made a conscious effort to game the system and it backfired.
  8. Patience and persistence . You can't paint a picture using all of the colors at once. In time it may come into view for some. It never will for others. The Grand Canyon didn't form because water was thrown all at once. That story is make the rounds in the world of alienated parents. Excellent story!. Go Joe Brown!
  9. Update: As my complaint was not dismissed it is suffice to say it holds some merit. http://www.scribd.com/doc/213932713/Licensing-Board-Response-to-Ethics-Complaint-Against-Dr-JRC
  10. Hey NC-17. Good afternoon. If it were as easy as asking professionals to do their damn jobs, I wouldn't have to spend time raising awareness. Child abuse and suppression of pertinant information is far more deplorable, wouldn't you say?
  11. When the abuse of a child occurs, should judges and legal professionals do what's in the best interest of a child? Or should they do their best to suppress discovery?
  12. Judge Osborne is a public servant who compromised the public trust. He is fair game for criticism. It comes with the territory. The Postman seems correct. Public servants in positions of authority must be held accountable to a higher standard than the average citizen.
  13. How frequently would he come up in your conversations? I would think not many people would be openly critical of a judge. Professional courtesy dictated people wouldn't even run against him.
  14. I guess the beating he took at the hands of Alan Grayson on the topic of "bills of attainder" made him seek help... at tax payer expense.
  15. Chuck Williams wrote an interesting article of how a judge operated to give his son an opportunity to win his seat and also preserve the integrity of the bench. Democrats no less... Chuck Williams: "You know Al Johnson wants his son to succeed him on the bench. What father would not want that for their son? And, as predicted, David qualified to run for his father's Circuit Court -- which is the same thing as Superior Court in Georgia -- seat. But guess what? David picked up opposition along the way. Phenix City attorney April Logan Russell is running against Judge David Johnson in the
  16. Or may be you just don't know some people as well as you think you do?
  17. LOL, that is Heath Ledger as the Joker in "The Dark Knight". I don't know how many judges you've observed before but I don't want to see another judge over the age of 50. The old timers have a mentality that is stuck in the 20th century. It's like their courtrooms are stuck in a time warp.
  18. Freedom requires independent thought and the courage to act on it. For some the path of least resistance leads to comfort through willing conformity.
  19. Try stepping in the courtroom without an attorney because you couldn't find one you could trust after your first choice didn't work out. Then feeling like everyone in the courtroom is in on the joke only to realize... you are the punchline. If lawyers in Paulding County would show a little less concern for the judges and a little more concern for their clients rights, they woudn't have these problems. They're all so afraid of stepping on a judge's toes that they overextend professional courtesy and get mad because a judge wiped his arse with their professional courtesy. As I said in anot
  20. I could be wrong but I think Vinson and Beavers share Roy Yunker as their clerk.
  21. What's of interest to note is the elephant in the room is that a professional courtesy was extended to the judge and then what is seemingly alleged is that the judge took advantage of that professional courtesy in an attempt for his daughter to gain his seat on the bench. Such courtesy seemed to be extended in my own case as professional courtesy among attorney's was frequently extended to attorneys but never extended to me. In my opinion, this constituted an unfair bias and I addressed it several times in motions and letters to the judge. To be sure, I am in no way alleging the Court was
  22. Excellent post. Dads matter when they are allowed to. It's that simple. If you don't think dads matter just look at the prison system. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTIzjVxvV2U
